The Crossing - Burton upon Trent - Photo album

A good selection of beers Madri lager & Neck Oil light IPA to name a couple of my faves albeit a lot more expensive than other local pubs. Very good food too in a really well refurbished pub in traditional style.
We called in on Saturday lunchtime/early afternoon after doing some Father's Day shopping. To be honest we were going to Wetherspoons just for a drink but after looking online at nearby pubs, we decided to go to The Crossing. The food menu, together with the positive food reviews encouraged us to sa
We love this place. It looks great inside and out. Someone may think that the cleanliness is not perfect like everyone else's home😉 ....... But the customer attitude is not likely to leave you indifferent. Super friendly staff, they always try to do their best to keep you happy here. Among the pizza
First visit to the Crossing after it's short closure due to change of management. Was apprehensive as we loved how it was and hoped nothing much had changed. Shouldn't have been worried when we walked in and saw Lizzies smiling face! Ambience remains the same with prompt, friendly, informative service
Lovely place to be, nice staff. The menu is large and lots of different lagers on tap. I made the mistake of ordering the bucket of fish and chips- it was too much to have! Really tasty just massive. I also had a dessert which was very nice- a scoop of chocolate ice cream. The prices are good and I
There is nothing bad I can say about this gem! It was my 50th birthday we ventured into this hidden jem on my birthday afternoon just for a couple of pints. The decor is lovely very shabby chic, but what most stood out, was the extremely friendly bar person called Hannah, such a lovely person very f
Oh this place was so good. A dark. A little sparse. But the bartenders were amazing and kind and funny. And the food was Amazing. If I lived local, I'd be here all the time. Go in. It's worth it.
Excellent food and service - although it was a bit slow. The interior design is stylish and arty. There's even a saw and hammer dangling from the ceiling! Some of the seating is reminiscent of Louis XIV chairs.
Lovely dog friendly pub. The hunters chicken pizza, margherita pizza and fish finger sandwich were great, the muddy nachos were fantastic! Spacious beer garden.
Nice bar. Friendly bar manager. We didn't have food. Nice atmospher, visited on a quiet night, so not many people. Nice background music.
Lovely food, lovely atmosphere. Service from Lizzie was excellent what a lovely person to have in your team xx👌 🥰
The Crossing is, by far, the nicest pub in the area. They have a great selection of beer on tap. I ate there twice. I had a burger and fish and chips. The burger was good, but the fish and chips was very good. They gave me a huge piece of fish that was cooked perfectly. I'm not sure what the little
The menue here is great, the wording alone sets your mind alight with the tantalising prospect of whats to come. With my friends i pondered over a steak which they had had before and recomended or my go too, a burger. They had only seen others order burgers but their description sold me on one. I
Was lovely not packed. We pipped in for lunch and wow food was amazing and the staff were lovely too! Definitely a must go if your wanting some nice food
Absolutely amazing food. Great quality. We had texas burger and lamb kofta greek salad. 😋 I've never tasted a salad like it, it was beyond amazing. Compliments to the chef. Will be back. Well recommended. £40 for two mains and two drinks. Hearty portion sizes.
