Fantasist celebration meal at The Meynell Ingram Arms this Sunday. Organising team and waiting staff went above and beyond to make the day special. Food was delicious and able to accommodate a range of dietary requirements. And kids eat for free! Cannot recommend enough. Will definitely be booking again for future celebrations.
Excellent meal. My pan fried sea bass was delicious. Service above and beyond for our fussy eater. The staff member with piercings was brilliant!
Great food, although a somewhat limited menu on our visit as the gas had an issue so no steaks or fish available. We were informed of this in advance though.
Had a Thai style steak salad starter as a main course which was well cooked with good quality meat and very flavoursome.
Nobody to greet or seat us on arrival, felt a little understaffed but service was good once we had been shown to our table.
Had asked for a quiet table due to having a nervous dog with us, which was fine until a large party arrived on the table for 12 behind us which slightly took the edge off the lovely Happy Birthday surprise they had brought out for my father.
Would definitely go again, if only to try the full menu.

The food was a little mixed. I was possibly a bit generous here. I would expect it to be a little better for the price. Some items lacked seasoning/flavour. The hummus stands out in particular for being particularly flavourless. Other things did hit the mark, though. Calamari was excellent, and I enjoyed the seabass main.
Staff were great on the whole, except the waiter who kept waking past and huffing. We went early, there was no one else there. So I'm not sure where the stress was coming from
Good food, good service from start to finish, the only minor was the chicken liver pate' its a little hard to cut & spread, I believe its only been come out from the fridge, but the flavours are very nice & good presentation.
Went for dinner with my family today and we all agreed that this was possibly the best meal we’ve had together. The food was amazing, the service impeccable, the location and decor stunning. Even though it was very busy, the staff were super efficient, highly attentive and always cheerful. They even have a dog-station for your dog, and there were many dogs there today!

I visited here with my friends for my birthday. Such a lovely venue on a summers day. Really enjoyed the outdoor seating.
I also left my jacket behind and they kindly posted it out to me! Excellent customer service and would definitely visit again!

Beautiful location, food was delicious. We booked a wood hut outside the actual pub/restaurant which was great. So private, warm, music playing. Staff were all friendly and professional... large food portions and well worth the money. Can't rate this highly enough.
Sunday lunch. Food not up to usual standards. Had the 3 meat roast. All the meat was tough. Rhubarb Eton Mess not as good as my last visit ... runny and not as tasty. Such a shame as one of my favourite venues but will give it another go.
Really nice food, worth travelling from Cannock for. Was a busy evening, so service was a little slow. Had a lovely singer in the garden but the music in the restaurant wasn't turned off so we couldn't hear all her songs.
Lovely people, booked 25 of us in with 2 days notice for Sunday Lunch. It was fantastic. Thank you so much. Great real ale too. Will call again. Highly recommended.
Delicious and different food, tasty cocktails, wine and mocktails, brilliant friendly services from Bethany in particular and loved the decor, staff uniforms and little touches like the quality napkins and printed paper with the chips! First visit after hearing lots of good things and definitely will be back
