Hidden gem, looks like it's in a converted shop but don't let that out you off - the food is great with a good choice of menu and fantastic flavours; and of course they introduced us to Warner Edwards Rhubarb Gin!
We were unable to attend on Valentine's Day due to childcare commitments... but they put on the special
menu at request and the food was just fantastic. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Simply great food. Had a brilliant night. Thanks to Danny and Andrea!

We keep going back, the food is delicious and consistently so, the service is spot on. Ideal for romantic meals, no high chairs, no ball ponds, just great food in a fantastic atmosphere. Steaks are the highlight, but for us the bread and butter gourmet style pudding is worth the trip alone. Great variety of drinks on offer, my husband loved the Pedigree ale which complimented his dinner perfectly.
Go, get a babysitter, enjoy good food adult style!
Fantastic , food , wine ,ambience, value for money top notch .....should go more often when I'm in Burton ....make a conscious effort to do so bit of a trek from Bedford .

We had a wonderful meal here for my birthday yesterday. The food was fantastic, beautifully presented, and delivered with appropriate timings between courses, not too slow or too quick, lovely staff, just perfect!

What an amazing place! Tried this restaurant a few weeks ago after Reading good reviews. It certainly lived up to the hype & more besides!! The most perfectly cooked steak I've had in a long time! Huge thumbs up!!

Lovely meal yesterday and reasonably priced compared to other local restaurants. Service was good and food quality excellent. The only improvement would be to serve the vegetables separately as my children don’t like all the veg so had to ‘sort it out’ where as if this was separate it would have been better.

First time at 99 Station Street and still cannot believe this is the first time I've been here. 4 of us were here for a birthday and had the rib eye steak, T-bone steak, duck and the short rib of beef. Every dish was exceptional. The short rib of beef was breathtaking. Looking forward to coming back
Friendly, relaxed restaurant. High quality food beautifully presented.
A little disappointed that my bread and butter pudding with custard wasn't piping hot like my husbands apple crumble, or my americano not as hot as his cappuccino, but tbh I didn't bring it to the staff's attention.
Would recommend and would visit again.

Had a lovely meal mackerel starter and rarebit on sour dough bread. The short rib cooked in bourbon was to die for it melted in your mouth no room for dessert. Staff professional and informative.
This is a little gem of a restaurant. Family run with a good menu especially the desserts. This kind of restaurant is so unique nowadays and offers quality dining at an affordable price.

What a fantastic meal we had last night at this absolute gem of a restaurant. The mushroom risotto bon bons and ham hock starters were delicious. I chose lamb for my main and my partner had a T-bone steak. He said it was the best steak he's had! My lamb was divine. We couldn't fault a thing with either the food or the service from the most lovely welcoming staff. Can't wait to go back!
Good place in Burton for a evening meal. The food is good and the staff are nice. Reasonably priced too. The beef short rib was fantastic.
I came here on a Saturday last month and was served by a beautiful young female I believe her name was Amelia. She was very welcoming and friendly and some great recommendations and patience as I took my time deciding on my food. I felt as though I was part of the amazing 99 station street family. Will be dining here again in future and have recommended to all of my friends.

Saturday night reservation, eleven covers in all while we were there, seemed quiet. The restaurant has been decorated in a style which could grow on you after a while but is an acquired taste. Autumnal vertical stripes down one side, what looks like TKMaxx wall accessory 'art' and uplighters with battery powered candles in them... kinda odd and distracting. Background music was another distraction - we couldn't agree on what sort of music would have been right for this venue so we sympathise with the proprietors on the difficulty they must have had, and don't blame them for the poor decision arrived at.
Service was friendly, albeit utterly devoid of eye-contact from both of the female staff. Chef, who fixed a wobbly bulb in the ceiling as he went by was an affable chap.
Food was great. Couple of interesting vegetarian options - odd to have a soup of the day as a specials starter in what was the third week of tropical temperatures in the UK, however the starters we chose were fine, mains also. Reasonable wine menu, with selection by the (small) glass or 250mls served in a carafe rather than a glass.
Overall good. Objectively, probably slightly over-priced for the location but quite happy to pay that again.
Brilliant food. I had duck and was the best I had tasted skin was crispy n meat juicy veg was lovely too. I even tasted my other halfs steak which had a nice chargrill taste and was cooked to perfection.
As on previous visits. Very good service, delicious food, and now in these uncertain times, excellent attention to safety of both customers and staff.
Excellent locally sourced food at reasonable prices. Very well cooked and presented with good wine list too. Friendly staff. Glad to see it's still going strong. Good dinner for a special occasion.
Had a lovely Mother’s Day meal here today, complete with a lovely gift wrapped plant to take home. Brilliant service and delicious food. Highly recommend.
