First time in this pub and first pint of flat Bass. An amazing pub and awesome beer. Well worth coming down from Glasgow to visit friends who took me to this wonderful pub.

Great pub, lovely evening pint . I highly recommend the Coopers, and have been going for several years I always enjoy the atmosphere and of course the beers. Recently redecorated - a great pub.

Been going there whenever I’m in Burton since 68. Although it has changed a dit since then, it’s still managed to retain its unique character and charm. My favourite pub!

What a cracking boozer....Visited on Fri 6 October 2023 with a couple of mates....Never been before....Only had one pint but it was an absolute banging pint of Bass - I love Bass and always have one, when I see it and as a Scotsman, it gets my top marks - it was "A Braw Drop" -- this is my absolute top mark! Well done - congratulations! Jeff Mac

Well presented pub in the back streets we walked from the canal and absolutely loved the welcome from Mandy and her staff gave. Several interesting areas to sit and enjoy a pint or two of well brewed beer. Dog friendly which is a bonus. Would certainly return, keep up the good work and get to live your dream

If you’re after an old fashioned looking pub that even on a Friday evening isn’t too busy and pretty quiet, this is a great pub to stop at. This pub, the Devonshire ‘round the corner and the Roebuck are pretty much the Bass holy trinity or trio if you will in Burton, brewing capital of Britain, and this pint ain’t half bad. A lovely albeit sharp pint of Bass, poured straight from the keg which was quite cool to see, decent prices on the pints too. As of the time of writing this review, paid £3.70 for the pint of Bass. Honestly if you’re paying anything under £4 for a pint of Bass you’re doing alright, at least that’s what my Dad told me, and he’s over 60 and lived in Burton all his life. All in all, a pretty decent pub! Edit: Literally minutes after I wrote this review, I heard one of the bar staff talk about how it’s not normally this quiet 😂, something to do with the Jubilee weekend.

Great pub. Always tend to go in on Friday launch while at work. Cheeky beer and pork pie. Large pork pies are banging. They also offer cobs that was just as nice as well

A jewel in Joule's pub portfolio, The Cooper's is a must visit when in Burton, beers on are gravity served direct from the cask, there is no bar counter, one of the few pubs in the country to serve beers this way.

Coopers' Tavern is a basic, unpretentious little boozer in Burton, but one with a more than decent selection of real ales on hand pumps. A good place for a quick pint, but not necessarily a place to linger. Decor is very basic, too. Staff are friendly indeed, and they have their own little beer festivals on occasion. Your friendly neighborhood pub.

An ultra friendly and homely pub. Walked up from our canal boat to try out the beers and pork pies. Both were excellent. Locals so friendly. Enjoyed a really pleasant few hours in the pub. Outside area also looked really nice for those who don't want to be inside. Beer selection fabulous.
