The very best Thai restaurant in Burton. My husband and I adore Thai food, and on special occasions we like to go out for a meal.
Our first experience of Favourite Thai last month was amazing.! The food was sublime and the service second to none; a great recommendation was offered on the wine to go with our meal which was utterly delectable; lovely staff who treated us like royalty, and with whom you really felt like it mattered to them whether we were happy or not with everything about our evening there.
The Manager is the most lovely man who made us chuckle each time he talked to us, and somehow he made us feel like we were his very best customers ever - even though it was the first time we had been there. Customer Service is not a thing of the past, after all!!!!
We shall definitely be returning; so if you love excellent Thai food, and a great dining experience, then we would not hesitate to recommend Favourite Thai :o)

Lovely little restaurant located in the heart of Burton upon Trent. The staff are polite and friendly and the prices (Lunch time menu) are inexpensive for a decent dish. I have been multiple times and it's been decent throughout. My only complaint is that the chicken pieces could be a little higher in quality overall. But that wouldn't stop me from going back again.

We had a lovely meal here for my Fiencees' birthday and thoroughly enjoyed it, really good, friendly service from start to finish. The owner went out his way to make us feel welcome.

Outstandingly delicious! A must have if you are anywhere in the area of Burton upon Trent. A true jewel. The warm and wonderful people match the charming embiance. I started with the Prawns Tempura followed by the Ped Dhu-Chi with Egg fried rice and prawn crackers - best ever! The currey in the Ped Dhu-Chi was out of this world. I'm definitely going back tomorrow .

Our favourite Thai in Burton as they do lots of options for us as pescatarians, it’s always quiet too which is good with 2 kids in tow who can be noisy.

Good food, freshly cooked and tasty. Been to Favourite Thai a number of times and the food is always great. The waiter is always jovial and a great wit. I go for the chicken chilli with basil, my wife had crispy pork dish, both delicious with Pad Thai noodles.

What a great place for lunch! We had 2 appetizers and the wonton soup- really good portions and it tasted fabulous! I’ve had wonton soup all over North America and this place is in my top 10 best over all! I will be coming back for sure!

Very authentic Thai food and friendly staffs! Sad they don’t have Thai iced tea but the food was so delicious! If you’re Thai like me, you can ask the chef to make it extra spicy for you!

I had heard about this family run restaurant. It is spacious. It was not busy on a Sunday evening but we could see plenty of take away orders flowing out. Service was friendly but there is some room for improvement. Starters were a big serving and tempuras needed a bit of seasoning. Main courses were also of decent size. Flavours were subtle but wholesome. Food was tasty. It is not expensive but not cheap either.
