very enjoyable meal. plenty of food. love how the vegetables are served separately on the table for you to help yourself with. piping hot food. only criticism would be starter came with no salad garnish which I always enjoy.
Lovely place with delicious food. We stayed overnight and ate in the restaurant for our evening meal and breakfast, which were both great. There had been a mix up with our room booking but this was dealt with promptly. Highly recommended for an overnight stay and for food.
This pub has just gone under new ownership and is doing very well. I went here for a meal with my family and all the dishes we had were spot on! Huge portions prepared well with attentive staff. The beer was great. The only negative I have was the coffee is out of one of those capsule machines thoug
Lovely rooms. Excellent breakfast. Well worth the money even did gluten free sausage 😋
Friendly welcome and service. Visited at lunchtime on a Bank Holiday so it was busy but everything in terms of timing of the meal was fine. The portions were generous and everything was freshly cooked. Would definitely recommend -- though the current tenants are leaving in July through retirement so
Superb meal. Staff attentive and very sociable. Highly recommended. Great quality and value for money. Will be back!!
Impromptu stay when stranded in Grantham and this was the only place with rooms available for the night. I was made to feel immediately welcome at the end of what was a stressful day. Very quiet and comfortable room and a great breakfast in the morning. Only downside was trying to get a taxi back to
Always such a fabulous choice of delicious food, fantastically fresh and hot but also great value for money. Without a doubt one of our favourite pubs in the area. It's very popular so make sure to phone and book ahead for a table to avoid disappointment!
We took a friend who has significant allergies and the service was great. A friendly and very competent waitress took the order and worked with the chef to work out how to accommodate the allergies. The food here is always delicious and plentiful but this service was outstanding
Excellent village pub, had a post walk beer here. Lovely staff, good ale, plenty of room inside and out
Stayed overnight as we were attending a wedding reception at Irnham Hall nearby (4 miles) Our room which was in a separate building to the pub was clean spacious and comfortable, we had tea & coffee making facilities and biscuits, milk was fresh and stored in the fridge along with 2 bottles of water
We went on Mother's Day so they were very busy and we had a short wait for the table but that did not distract from the superb food and service. Very friendly staff and the food was amazing, delicious. We have been a few times before and it's my favourite country pub, it never disappoints. You ju
