Only came in for pint and crisps. Great choice of local ales (Dorset Gold is a favourite). £13 for 2 pints and 2 packets of crisps. Busy pub but was still able to get high table to sit at. Superb and some... we were lucky to get a table even on a week day lunchtime but glad we did. I had Indonesian Thai Seafood Curry and husband ordered Hake from the specials board. Food was outstanding. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Lovely pub.
Lovely country pub with parking (a little limited). Staff very welcoming and friendly. Good selection of beers. Food absolutely delicious. We ate fresh mussels which came with sourdough bread and chips (on the specials board) and fish and chips. Very generous portions worth the money. About £45 for
One of the best burger I have had for years,we had to go the next day and have it again,my wife had Indonesian seafood curry and said its best she ever had and she had mussels mariners the next day,all 5 stars .We were visiting from Brighton and this was worth it .
We did not expect this kind of quality food from a pub restaurant. Everything was top class!

Sat outside in a lovely seating area, table service, very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, so much so, went back the following evening.
Dog friendly, lots of water bowls and cool places for sitting, grass or paving, which was shaded.
It's does get busy but we didn't book either evening
Had a fabulous Sunday lunch. The staff were friendly, obliging, and service was great. The food was excellent, the roast lamb was cooked perfectly and was really tender, accompanied by a great selection of vegetables. Would definitely recommend.
A gem of a place. A cosy village pub with a sophisticated and modern menu. Our seafood spaghetti and fillet steak were beautifully cooked and well put together. Delicious bread and spreads, lovely wine, interesting sides and sharing dishes, all served by friendly and helpful people. Great value. H
Nice country village pub. The food was well presented and decent quality, but a couple of our group of 4 diners felt the meals were small. Service was surprisingly slow considering they were well staffed and not busy. No real complaints but I felt there was room for improvement.
