The Farm Burscough is a great cafe with plenty of outside seating if the weather is good enough for sitting outside. The menu is ample, and the food and service are really good, as are the options of coffee to choose from.
The place is a little hidden as it's down a narrow lane, but there is a sign

We were on a bike ride and wanted cake...
On arrival, we met the welcoming committee. First impressions told us to turn around. But we didn't.
It's pretty expensive for what it is. It's nothing special but It's clean with a good menu choice. Plenty of cakes, ice creams, milkshakes,

Also good selection in the shop, so have stocked up on bread, biscuits and pie's 🥧

Worth finding! Good place to visit with children, who like the farm animals, very popular with walkers and cyclists. Good walks near by. Tasty food cooked on the premises and friendly, efficient service. Pleasant outdoor eating areas and homely atmosphere inside. Parking available. Good farm shop at
Just had a beautiful prosecco afternoon tea here. Sat outside in the sunshine which was lovely. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. Fabulous home cooked food. All day breakfast very reasonable and good choice of specials. The ham, egg and chips is amazing. Staff friendly and attentive and a lovely place to have lunch and buy good quality food from the farm shop. Not open evenings.
Great little campsite tucked away just off the Leeds Liverpool Canal. Very paddler friendly as it is only a short walk to the site!
Just spent 3 nights here and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Lovely clean room and so quiet at night. A fine breakfast served in the tearoom each morning and a chance to chat with the members of the family who run this hidden gem
Visited for first time yesterday for lunch. Food, atmosphere and staff were all brilliant; special mention to Tia, who is a credit to you. Will definitely be back and looking forward to the great food and banter already! Thank you 😊
