The Roasting Project - Burntisland - Photo album

The roasting project is a great cafe in a lovely seaside location. By roasting the coffee in house, they ensure the freshness, quality and originality of the cafe and helps give it an unique identity. The food was tasty, generous portion sizes and was fast to come out. Great range of cakes and pastr
Lovely coffee shop with a roastery on site. Had an iced americano and it was as smooth as any specialty coffee I’ve tried. Really friendly staff too. Food looked great but didn’t have time to try so will definitely be back again for that. Do kinda wish there was a better place to wait for takeaway c
I recently visited the Roasting Project. It was a halfway point on my hike of part of the fife coastal path and I was wet from the rain and hungry. What a find. The welcome from the welcoming lady was lovely. She was attentive without being pushy. I sat down happy to rest my weary legs and already
We felt welcomed, the food and service was great. The establishment is light and airy and the tables don’t feel crammed in.
Best coffee I have ever tasted and friendly staff very clean and good atmosphere
Delicious poached eggs on sourdough bread with avocado. Eggs were done perfectly. Now the coffee is a 5star+. So many places have the equipment and the look but this is the real deal. Next visit I want to be seated near to the coffee grinder again as the smell is amazing
Have dined here whenever visiting Burntisland. Lovely food (recommend the Bombay Eggs on sourdough) and great coffee. Ultra friendly staff, nothing too much trouble.
The coffee is the best in Fife! The menu is very high quality. They always have both a meat based special and a vegan special. Staff are always cheery, welcoming and helpful. Bakery items are exceptional! Highly recommend the toffee yum yum!
First time here and at 10:30 on a Saturday morning it’s bouncing with life. We had the same thing, cappuccino and avo & eggs. Coffee was superb and the breakfast delicious. Service fast and polite. Would certainly recommend and we will definitely be back.
Okay where do I even start??? A nice warm greeting, the building itself is absolutely beautiful, the menu is excellent, and the coffee is amazing. The staff were great explaining the different beans & brewing methods. Everything about this place is just absolute perfection!
Just popped in for a quick pit stop, so had no great expectations, but the Shakshouka here is superb and the coffee spot on. Friendly staff and good service. A hidden treasure and well worth the detour off the Fife Coastal Route.
Excellent coffee roasters in Burntisland. Superb range of coffee with an excellent food menu too. We had a roll and sausage, with a plate of Bombay eggs (fried eggs, black pudding, sour cream and chimichurri sauce - really delicious). Two perfect flat whites completed this delicious breakfast
We visited here for lunch on Sunday 16th August 2020. Lovely clean and fresh space. The staff were amazing, super friendly and keeping the place continuously clean. All staff were wearing masks throughout and we really felt like they had everything under control considering the current pandemic. All
Didn't have food, so my rating is for the coffee, I had a coffee brewed with a V60, I have one at home so was curious to try one brewed from somewhere that knows what they are doing. My partner had a hot chocolate and she really enjoyed that. Was very reasonably priced and will definitely pop in aga
I visit the Roasting Project often, it's a cracking place. The coffee is delicious, the food is great and the staff are just lovely. They also do events in the evenings which I keep missing out on but look brilliant. Highly recommended.
Delicious decaffeinated cappuccino with avocado toast and poached eggs. Crust on sourdough bread base was somewhat hard to cut and sliced tomatoes on top rendered the whole slightly watery. Tasty nevertheless.
One of our favourite speciality coffee places to visit. Not only is the coffee menu extensive, but the food is wonderful too. Staff are very helpful.
After a traumatic latte experience in Ayrshire, these guys restored my faith in great coffee outside of Edinburgh and Glasgow. Great coffee, great food, fantastic spot to catch up with great friends!
Great Cafe, super fast service, good food. Amazing cakes and nice coffee.
