Lovely food especially the home made meat and potatoe pie
Absolute best fish and chips and pies are to die for.
Absolutely top rate, fish was huge with good crispy batter and chips were like my mam used to make, would definitely recommend it , if you enjoy freshly cooked, hot fish and chips at a reasonable price Bird's is the place to go.

We often visit the loveky ladies here, I prefer a very well done - some would say over cooked fish, every time I order well done its fried perfect! Would highly recommend, my husband loves their steak puddings. Great service! Fantastic prices

Excellent. Chips are always decent not soggy or too greasy. Never had the fish but love their battered sausages. Decent parking near by.
I would give this place more than 5 stars! The girls were absolutely lovely and so friendly. Me and my friends had got on the wrong train and ended up in Burnley so decided to go to the closest place which was Birds fish and chip shop! The girls were lovely and chatty, asking where we were from and

Excellent food and service,however very mean with the gravy curry and peas,if there was an extra small portion available on the menu,then that would describe how much of each you receive on your meal.
A very popular fish and chip shop but it doesn't compromise on quality. I've visited various time and havnt had a bad meal and always received friendly service with a smile.

First time in this chippy,The staff were very nice and friendly and the prices were dirt cheap.I got a small portion of chips for £1.45 and it is easily behalf the price and a similar sized regular portion of many chippies near me.. Highly recommended.
