This place is elite, our new family favourite for special occasions. The restaurant is beautiful, service impeccable and the food is always rich and delicious. We’ve been here 3 times in the past year and each time it hits the mark. Personal favourite is the duck and chips, absolutely cooked to perfection. The cost is in line with the quality so you pay for what you get. This place is a is ideal for that next important meal, you won’t be disappointed.
This is an amazing restaurant which is a perfect place for special occasions. The environment are so romantic and elegant. The food and services are excellent. Don’t miss out the Trios of Lamb. Highly recommended.

The restaurant is very clean and trendy, really nice atmosphere too.
My only complaint and this is just me nit picking is it was our anniversary and we got a free brownie with a fire work in it, would have preffered a free drink instead.

Surprise lunch out to celebrate finding out the gender of my new great-grandchild. My sister picked the venue purely because I have a cat named Wilfred! It was well worth the visit and we will be back again as soon as we have something else to celebrate! 🍾
Visited for the first time yesterday. Wilfred’s looks good, the atmosphere feels good, and the food is good… OK, it was great actually! I had the Trio of Pendle Lamb, followed by the Triple Chocolate Orange Sphere. I wish I could have it again today. Definitely recommend.
Great addition to an overnight stay. Its beautifully decorated and has a feel of luxery without the price tag. The staff are attentive and the food really is good with a great selection. My only criticisms are, I felt there were more options on the menu with an added supplement than there was to pick from our included options and our food came out way too fast, starter came in less than 5 mins and we'd finished the whole 3 courses and a drink in less than an hour... in fact we had half of our dessert left when they came round to clear the plates up. It felt very rushed which is not what you want when you've spent money on a special occasion. We have been here a few times both busy and empty and the rushed feeling is always the same, it really did let it down. Other than that it's a great place and I would go again.
Outstanding quality food and service. In a large family party and quite frankly everyone enjoyed their food and could have eaten each others the choice was that good and appealing. Although it was busy, the staff were professional, courteous and extremely efficient. Not had such good service and good food for a long time.
I had oxtail cannelloni followed by hake jambalaya and completed with apple tart with fresh fruit. The food is beautifully presented across the menu. If you want spectacular try the triple chocolate sphere with hot chocolate sauce. Not only is it served with panache but apparently tastes divine. And I thought there was nowhere like this in Burnley
The chef is definitely a great one. Taste on all the courses has been fantastic. Seasoning present but never too much. Great presentation. Service attentive and caring. Vast choice of wines and champagnes.

Wilfred's is a fine dining restaurant with an elegant and plush decor, there has been no expense spared here. The menu prices reflect the environment and so this is not somewhere for a rushed dinner and is not cheap.
Wilfreds have a vegan menu but as we have been several times now, it is getting boring and it does need updating to include some new dishes. Desserts need to be pre ordered which I do not like, I cannot understand this as it would be easy to incorporate vegan desserts on the main menu and no one would any the wiser.
I ordered the taster board and mushroom and leek risotto and hubby ordered the cauliflower pakoras and dukkah spiced aubergine.
The food was delicious, although some of the naan type bread on the taster board was dry and I think it was gluten free so may contain egg so I left it, but there was plenty. The pakoras were delicious as were the rest of the dishes.
Its great they offer a vegan menu but it needs a change but we would go back and its a lovely venue for a special occasion like a birthday.
This place is absolutely amazing. The food is exquisite. The scallops starter is one of the best dishes I've ever had and the signature fillet steak literally melted in my mouth. It's not the cheapest restaurant around, but it's worth every penny. Can not recommend this place more highly. Hotel ams Spa is also 1st class.
Really enjoyable experience. The choice of food was great with several options that I would have been happy with (I went with the trio of lamb for main). The service was polite, attentive and efficient - we will definitely be back!

Went there Friday night, was busy, but was served quickly, was abit cold sitting under the canopy outside with no heating. Food was nice, would come again.
Another visit to this newish restaurant in the new Crow Wood hotel near Bertrams. Food was delicious and service was excellent.
