A great place for a walk, play on the park, feed the ducks... You can walk a bit further on to the nature reserve, or spot herons in the river. A nice spot to spend a few hours in.
Friendly staff, very large cafe, decent selection of well cared-for plants of all sizes, from small alpines (4 for a tenner) to large tree ferns (£500-600). If you've not been before, note it's located down a *very* long drive (depending on which way you come into the grounds). Lots of parking space
Just wanted to leave a review as I attended the garden centre and the cafe today with one of our customers, the staff in the cafe were extremely helpful cannot fault them at all, went out of there way to find us a table to be seated on as it was very busy and the lady I was with was a wheelchair use
Lovely place to browse around, for plants and ornaments , for the garden. Also had a lovely coffee shop ,where you can sit inside or outside , on a nice day. Very reasonably priced. There is a shopping department inside the garden centre.
Very well laid out garden centre huge plant selection in the beautiful townley hall setting. Also the cafe restaurant is top notch the Sunday roast was a dream the roast beef wow thick cut melt in the mouth somebody in the kitchen knows what they're doing.
Lovely garden centre , restaurant is nice and clean, dog friendly with covered seating outside , food is fresh and hot but personally think its a little over priced in my opinion 😕
Visited for a coffee and a piece of cake. Both were fabulous. Nice to see they have a dog friendly area too.
Garden centre always well stocked. Staff helful. The park is beautiful. The hall is closed, but the cafe is open for takeaway food and drinks Disabled parking at the garden centre and in front of the hall
