Went here for the first time today with a member of my family who's currently an inpatient at the nearby hospital and using a wheelchair. I can't tell you what a difference it makes knowing there's somewhere I can get her hot, affordable, tasty non-hospital food! Care has clearly been taken to make sure the pub is accessible and the staff were lovely and efficient. We'll be back, thank you!
My first visit here with a group of friends for our tea..table was ppre-booked because of a large no., some people had downloaded the Sizzling App & ordered food/drinks from their table no., other's went to order at the bar. Great customer service, friendly staff, prompt service, food was exceptional, large portions & tasty, we ordered the various Desserts Sundaes 🍨 too, all are Divine & a large amount. This was on Thurs night, whilst there, Quiz night started, very popular crowd & we declined to play, but were happy to join in guessing 😀..I would recommend to anyone, great Grills/family friendly too for younger kid's, I'll be back soon, thanks for an enjoyable evening.
I really enjoyed my mixed grill here. Well recommended for family meals out. Staff are polite and the place is also nice and clean. But... the toilets however have those timed automatic lights. If you happen to be in there for an unforeseeable period of time then I suggest you take your phone because it'll go pitch black without warning!

Absolutely fantastic, we booked a party for nearly 40 people. The staff couldn't do more to help us, all meals were as ordered and came out hot. The service was excellent and couldn't be faulted. Will definitely be going back
Had a fantastic time visiting The Prairie, the wait for food wasn't long at all and the food was excellent, they catered very well for my disabled girlfriends needs by bringing drinks over, aside from being heckled by a noisy table whilst playing pool, I thoughroughly enjoyed my stay and would go back again.
We came to the prairie pub from the nearby care home with a number of restaurants to have lunch out. The service and accommodation for us was fantastic and couldn’t ask for more. The residents thoroughly enjoyed their lunch out.
great meal today. burger was very good and waiter named chloe made sure that we where satisfied with our meal and we had a good time. hope to go again soon.
Tasty hot food served quickly. Beer deal much appreciated. We also had a 40 % off Mains voucher again greatly appreciated
A good place to eat and drink food is good, and there is a good variety of drinks over the bar. It is easy to get a table and order at at the bar or via the app if you have a signal WiFi would be good to offer to make this easier it may of been there but did not see any signs for it when visited.
Attended Friday night for my friend's birthday meal. Didn't realise food orders stopped at 8pm, so was a little bit rushed. Good prices though and really quick service

Kitchen was a little slow which I overheard other tables mentioned but usually when I come it's fast so guessing they had hiccups or was short staffed. Sat on table 4 please make that area more light or keep the lights on was very dull then lights only went on during the quiz but overall can't wait to come back always a pleasure. Shoutout to Shannon and the manager on shift who sorted the birthday cake for us thanks so much.
Wish you could do a starter that is just a bowl of garlic prawns as they were delish
The food was cold, bar staff was rude and too busy talking to her friends, plus we had to sit in the tap room very noisy tap room I may add.
Even thou there were tables just inside of the door way, I've no idea where the five stars came from it does not deserve them
I've not been in a while. I will definitely be going for food again it was delicious, and you got ample great value for money.
The food was absolutely amazing. Not over cooked and definatley get your money's worth. Staff super friendly and attentive.
Today I went to The Prairie with my boyfriend and we ordered burgers. The best burgers in Burnley, strongly recommend. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was fully booked, but we had the order very fast.
