Jaycee. This place is just so lovely, we visit now roughly about once a week, twice if im lucky enough to get out of cookng. The atmosphere is lovely, very friendly, professional and efficient staff, and the food is second to none, priced just perfectly.

Countryside pub with good food. The Ram Inn is set in the Cliviger Gorge at Holme Chapel, nr. Burnley, amid beautiful countryside. Vintage Inns have done a great conversion from the drab previous interior, stripping things back to what it might have looked like in 1848 when it was founded, and furnishing it with antique wooden chairs and tables and knick-knacks. There are numerous rooms off rooms, some with real log fires. If the weather is fine you can eat outside in a small courtyard or on one of the many tables overlooking Thieveley Pike. They specialise in the traditional pub classics, but also cook a wide variety of grills and vegetarian options (see link to menus). There are separate menus for lunch, dinner, and children. Lunch 1 course is £5.95, 2 courses £7.95 and 3 courses £9.95. Evening meals are all around £6.95 for the pub classics. Recommended. Food served all day every day.

Under new management since March. Service and food were excellent. Nice atmosphere, good outside seating with great views and its an excellent starter or end location for country walks. A friendly landlord and the Lunch menu is really good value. Thanks for a lovely afternoon we will be back.

Popped in here on Sunday. Inside was quite quiet as everyone was in the beer garden enjoying the sun. We were able to find a table easily and ordered food. We had been informed there was up to a 30-45 minute wait for food but I have to say it came well before then. We all chose a Sunday roast and it did not disappoint at all. Very tasty. They had 80music playing in the background which made the whole visit much more enjoyable. Totally love 80s music and always have it on in my car! Definitely will be returning. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved the visit we had at the ram today! All staff ever so friendly. This is a warm pub with open lit fires, dog friendly and beautifully decorated to keep us customers comfortable! Menu was absolutely amazing, could taste every ounce of quality and effort from the busy chefs and the staffs service only enriched the experience further!!

Treated my mum to a meal out and it did not disappoint. The food had excellent portions and tasted incredible! The staff were very attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed. Overall the food was slow but we got told that before we ordered so we didn’t mind the wait. Always have been my favourite place to eat and is an excellent British pub!

First visit & took our friends who were staying with us along. So happy we decided to have dinner here! Needed a dog friendly place so that helped us chose the place. Two starters four mains two puddings & 3 soft drinks plus one glass of wine. Overall a well deserved 5 out of 5. Will defo go back. The food was delicious 😋 piping hot & my only negative point...there was chives sprinkled on top of my Hunters Chicken! It's not mentioned on the menu so will ask next time will ask for no chives!

I live in the Calder Valley and have eaten in a few local pubs and this one has been my favourite. A really nice oub and location and friendly helpful staff the food was really goid, at least the Sunday dinners were. The kids roasts were great and one of my boys doesn't like gravy so we asked for his without and that's how it came, which hasn't happened everywhere we eat. They got lots of the little things like that right that just topped it all off. The kids really enjoyed running round outside and playing on the climbing frame. My only minor niggle would be that it comes with roast and mashed potato and I just need the roast potatoes, I'd rather another bit of meat than the mash but who wouldn't? Between us we had the lamb, beef and turkey and it was all very very good.
