Had a lovely afternoon tea here first time on a Sunday. Soup, sandwiches, yummy cake selection & cups of coffee. £15 total which is good, I always come here regularly now, I can't fault the homemade food, attentive staff & excellent service to customers always. Thank you for today even though you w
Good choice of food from the menu and special board, good service also dog friendly. We opted for the Ploughman's Lunch which came on a large wooden board, an excellent, plentiful meal complete with two excellent coffees, very much recommend, good stop off point when visiting nearby Gawthorpe Hall.
Great all-day cooked breakfast and friendly staff. Recommend upgrading the coffee.
Great food and great service here. Veggie breakfast was filling, although only one tomato. Two chicken panini were gorgeous, very tasty and homemade coleslaw was a great. They were advertised with chips but they came with crisps, very popular. Friendly staff too.
Fantastic food and amazing service would recommend x
Food was amazing, great offers on for breakfast! Nice quaint little cafe, can get a little cramp if busy and the door was left open at one point whilst it was quite cold out. Staff are lovely and friendly.
Local, to myself, everything was fantastic, at more than a good price, thank you.
Great cafe, staff really accommodating and helpful.
Great cuppa and coffee!! Wide selection of gluten free options for lunch and was recommended the fish cakes. We'll go back to try those. Staff very friendly. Nice little place. A group of 8 women on the next table had the most amazing afternoon teas... ooooh, cake envy!!
On a day out and called in for Breakfast WOW! Great service from Trish and the staff and the food was fantastic. Well worth the trip from Southport will definitely go again Thank You
Lovely place to come for a tasty and well cooked breakfast.
Good food, good service.
Five of us visited here for a 60th birthday afternoon tea after visiting Gawthorpe Hall. What a lovely, friendly welcome we received! All the food was home made and freshly prepared. The soup and quiche were absolutely delicious, something a bit different for an afternoon tea. We all loved all the c

Recommend to us, went in for cake but had a fab humous salad. Tea in a pot not a mug so chance to brew. Lovely staff, delicious food and some local tips shared with us ( mostly about cheese!)
Stopped here for a well earnt full English and cup of tea. Clean and presentable with parking on the roadside. Warm welcome on arrival by the helpful staff - nothing was too much trouble. Good quality food cooked to perfection and eaten in a rustic themed setting. Toilets were clean and modern too.
Very quiet, really good home made food, decent price. Lovely interior, owner really friendly.
