The new owners of The Nelson are incredibly warm and welcoming as soon as you step into the bar. Great selection of pints. Love seeing the pub come back to life and revamped!
We didn't stay in the rooms so can't comment, but will say that the Sunday Carvery was the best I have ever had! Staff here are fantastic, the food is fantastic so the rooms must be fantastic too! We'll worth a visit we shall definitely return!
On arrival for our two night stay we were shown to our room however there was an issue with it, Pauline the Manageress immediately resolved it to our satisfaction.
The staff are friendly and helpful, the food in the bar/restaurant was very good and the breakfast was excellent quite possibly the bes

We were a table of six and were served quickly, although a table of twelve had just ordered.
We all had sandwiches and they were all enjoyed.
I had crab and it was extremely well filled complete with a nice dressed side salad completed a tasty lunch.

Had dinner here one night when all the 'posh' places in the village were fully booked. Decor is basic (more cafe than pub) but the food was amazing! Beautiful batter on my fish 'n' chips and my wife's seafood linguine was deep in flavour. Loved it so much went back fro breakfast next morning!
Stopped for lunch on the way through the area. Just a great, no thrills pub. Very welcoming. But the food is exceptional. Ordered a ploughman's. What came to the table was a feast. My wife ordered the fish finger sandwich. Awsome. Thankyou very much.
Very good pub in Burnham Market, just of the main town area, very friendly staff.

The lobster salad was delicious & very good value.
We stayed for one night, last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was lovely, bright and airy and very clean. The food and staff were also amazing. The pub is also set in a beautiful village. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely stay, room clean and very comfortable. Slept well. Breakfast good choice of cereal, fruit, croissants. Cooked breakfast great, vegetarian sausages were the best I've ever had. Sausage for the dog a lovely touch.😊 We will return.
Very friendly welcome and shown to the table.
The menu was good and the food was lovely as was the wine.
The only small observation was that our table was in the bar area which at times was a little noisy. The next time we go I will ask for a table in the restaurant area.
