Wonderful food, in a beautiful modern restaurant, using simple mixes of ingredients that work really well to provide flavours that we hadn't experienced before. The structure of the menu allows for sharing or keeping your own dishes, depending on your mindset. But all are cooked excellently. And I can even say that for the dishes we didn't have as we sat at the Kitchen Table watching the chefs prepare all the dishes - a real treat and one we'd definitely recommend, especially if Ollie is on the pass. He was a great advert for the business and a pleasure to chat to. The awards Socius has received are fully deserved, and I'm sure there are more to come.

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, amazing service, it was even more of a treat sitting at the “Chefs Table”, watching the chefs prepare the dishes and even taking the time to speak to us was special. I’ve been a few times now and it’s always been flawless.

If you are after a cheap meal, look somewhere else. OK, now I have said that, the food is amazing. They have put a lot of effort into (and succeeded) putting together a very interesting menu ~ something for everyone ~ and executing it perfectly. We were a large group of 9 and all dishes were perfectly prepared and presented. The flavours were very well thought through with good quality ingredients used. The atmosphere was nice but not exceptional, modern but maybe a little boring. Nice touch allowing dogs at lunchtime.

An amazing restaurant, never disappoints! Food is stunning, well presented with great service! We love ordering lots of small plates and sharing! The focaccia is always freshly prepared and super fluffy! A good variety of options & something for everyone! Would recommend booking, it does get busy and booked up!

Incredible service, great food- I recommend trying everything! We pretty much ordered the whole menu to share bar some of the veggie dishes. The food was impeccable. We were sat on the kitchen table overlooking the kitchen and I really recommend this for the best experience! Service was attentive and really great. They fully catered for my boyfriends egg and dairy intolerance and had done a spin on some of the dishes to cater for this. Often when we go places, the restaurants will cater for the intolerance by just making all the food plain without the trimmings however at Socius we didn’t even notice everything was egg and diary free. The ambience is also great. We had a fabulous meal here and also everything is a great price point compared to London! Thank you Socius team for an unforgettable meal ❤️‍🔥

We had a lovely evening last night. The venue is well presented and easy to find in Burnham market. The food was exceptional and also quite reasonable in price for the quality and portion sizes. We spent about £60 a person on food and drink but couldn’t finish everything we had ordered because we were too full 😭 When the food is of such high quality, every small thing stands out as strange. We thought the burrata was delicious, but the least well presented for all the dishes. Everything else was very cleanly presented, the burrata not so much. We also found our main dishes to be slightly on the salty side due to the dressing/sauce. The meat itself was absolutely perfect, just slightly overpowered by the salty sauces. That being said, this could be chalked up to personal taste. The sauce with the meat was delicious for the first few bites, but the salt started to build up by the end of the dish. The Hake and steak were very generous portions 👍🏽 none of this should be taken as a “negative” comment. Just observations when everything is to such a high standard. They did well to accommodate my wife who can’t eat dairy, the waiter knew all the answers off the top of his head, so the team were evidently briefed well and things were well communicated. Drinks menu was nice, given we were driving we could only try a wine and local beer, both nice. We didn’t try deserts as we overate in the starter and main course 😅

My favourite place to eat. The food is fantastic, as is the atmosphere and service. We had another lovely meal with the kids and can’t wait to go back.

Amazing place. Wonderful food, not crazily priced considering the quality , happy atmosphere . We had the kitchen table which was a fascinating place to sit and watch all the hard work as the food was cooked and assembled. Go..you won't regret it

Fantastic flavours and excellent cooking. The service was spot on and the food was well crafted with amazing flavours and textures in every mouthful. Reasonably priced for the quality of the food in a relaxed setting looking over the pass. One of the best eating experiences I have had for a long time!

Lucky enough to get one of the four stools by the kitchen (which were very comfortable!). Food was to die for, the imagination in the courses (watermelon with feta!) Was amazing. Service was great, couldn't fault it and overall was a bargain for a restaurant of the quality of food! If you get the chance GO!!

Absolutely Amazing!!! We had a fantastic lunch at Socius. My partner and I wanted to try as many main dishes as possible so we ordered to share the hake with brown shrimps and cockles, slow roasted pork belly and the duck breast. All three dishes were absolutely delicious. We ordered the Socious chocolate bar as dessert...super yummy!! Very attentive staff and great attention to details. Socius is definitely The Must Try restaurant in Norfolk!!

Incredible food, service and atmosphere. We had the pork and beef roasts, followed by a few puddings as we couldn’t choose between them. As someone with a dairy allergy, I was blown away by the care and attention to detail, especially with the puddings! If I could give more stars, I would!

Absolutely amazing experience at this stunning restaurant. Every plate of food was perfect, each one becoming our new favourite! We had the chefs table, and seeing the team work in such unison was a joy to watch. A truly spectacular evening, thank you to all the team.

Excellent food. Subtle tastes without overpowering. Hake really good as were the beetroot dish and aubergine. Meant to take more photos but distracted by the food. Deserving of a Michelin star next time

*UPDATED* A friend recommended Socius to us the first time we visited Norfolk. We’ve been back to Norfolk six times, now, and every time make sure we go there at least two or three times – it’s that good! The food and service is consistently amazing. The Sunday lunch is an absolute treat - the best we’ve EVER had - and the regular nights with Tapas style dishes are always fabulous and ever-changing, though some firm favourites stay on the menu. The service is always impeccable and friendly, they have smashing wine list, and cocktails on the main menu. It’s not cheap, but it’s worth every penny. There’s plenty of parking right outside but a word of warning: it’s rightly successful and has garnered accolades so it’s increasingly hard to get into, so book ahead. If you don’t see space on the online booking system, it’s always worth giving them a call to see if they can help out with some table juggling or going on a waiting list.

Classy and fabulous establishment. All dishes are for sharing. Nice touch was being told the limited availability of the steak when we sat down, allowing us to secure the dish we wanted. It was hard to pick our favourite dish, as all were exceptional. Great staff, friendly and attentive.

Amazing place. Very lively. First time visiting and definitely will go back. We sat at the table facing the open kitchen. Thought could be uncomfortable but not at all. Really enjoyed the atmosphere, the food, the wine. The staff were friendly and always smiling. Service was promptly and the lady who took our order was very informative. This is a Tapas concept with the English Twist. So if you like to eat, try different food & share, than this is the perfect place.. I am sure you can order your own dish but the sharing concept makes the difference. Thank you for the great night.
