My first time visiting here and I have been to Burley more times than I can remember. Well we will certainly be back! The food was delicious. I had a traditional cream tea and the other half had a Cheeseburger. Both were incredible. The food was fresh and scrumptious. The staff were attentive and friendly. The restaurant is rustic and very quaint. We highly recommend. They also had a bench with a memorial plaque for Buster Merryfield.
Lovely café that offers a good selection of hot and cold food, including delicious cream teas that are perfect for a mid-walk treat! The service was great and there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

The 4 of us stopped for breakfast before our trip. Lovely welcome from all the team . The breakfast was fantastic, plates were hot and it was cooked perfectly poached eggs were spot on. Very good value. Thank you
It was a beautiful restaurant I visited today for breakfast. Amazingly clean with convenient parking and access. The building itself seems an art. Old structure has been beautifully maintained and tradition of typical English cutlery, fireplace and ceilings have been kept with love. Toilets were clean. Food was fresh and delicious- a value for money. Staff was welcoming and friendly. I’d definitely recommend this place.
Such a lovely place staff were so nice and friendly service was brilliant and quick food was delicious and even allowed my dog to come sit in aswell highly recommended

A lovely little place in Burley . We had ordered 2 coffees in the morning and sat outside. Staff were lovely. They have an onsite carpark so we left our car and went round the town as we knew we were going back for lunch. We got back and the young girl had came to our table asking if we had paid for our coffees that morning...we hadn't. We had just walked out without even thinking. Very embarrassing. But as it was we were genuine as we had gone back to get our dinner. 🤣 food was fantastic we had baguettes and cheesy chips which were lovely. A lovely little place with lovely staff and I'm pleased to say we finally paid for our coffees too.
Perfect Little Place. Couldn't fault it. Lovely atmosphere and people. Perfect food. And to top it all off they even welcome the dogs with open arms! We will definitely be back.

Stopped for a quick bite whilst visiting Burley. It took a little while to get served and place our order, when the teas arrived i had to ask for sugar to put in the cups also when the food arrived i had to ask for ketchup, not sure if this was down to young staff being inexperienced or just slack service. That said the food was perfectly coiked and presented.

We ordered 3 drinks, a farmhouse grill, cottage pie and cheese, leek and cheese lasagne, toasted tea cake, and two cakes. The food was impeccable and presented beautifully, all of it was cooked to perfection, really couldn’t fault anything. They were great portion sizes, the slices of cake were amazing!
The staff were friendly and attentive and able to serve us in a timely manner from when we arrived. We were clearly clueless as we had never been there before and the team were so kind and let us know everything we needed to know.
The menu is extensive, they have so much to offer and they have keys to say what is vegetarian and gluten free and what can be made gluten free, dairy free or vegan. The foods available for dietary restrictions sounded delicious, the leek and cheese lasagne was gorgeous 😍
The vibe of the place and the kindness of the staff really exemplify what a lovely area Burley is, and what lovely people are there.

Good stop off for a light lunch. Nothing to fancy. Staff can be hard to get the attention of. Food was good quality and served quickly.

Nice location, with outside seating. No vegan breakfast option on the menu, but they were able to vegan-ise the vegetarian breakfast, which was lovely. Would recommend
Second visit to this beautiful restaurant. Food was amazing as usual, service with a smile, food was hot & fresh. Nothing was too much trouble for the 6 of us.
