Great café in an old railway station with a variety of good food on the menu, including gluten free options, at reasonable prices. Popular with walkers and cyclists. Seating inside and outside with some tables undercover. Small car park with secure bike rack and toilets.

I was in a group of 14 people and we stopped here for coffee and cake after our Autumn walk. There was space for us to sit outside under cover on this pleasant Autumn day. The coffee was great and my savoury scone and chutney was excellent. The rest of the party was very complimentary about their cakes. Being outside, we were served from the kiosk, but inside the service might be different. This was dog friendly and there were treats available for dogs as well as water. There was plenty of parking although in the height of summer that could be tricky. The loos were clean.

Have a walk along the disused railway line. Some people prefer to cycle, but I think they miss just how rich the flora is. Then have some tea and vegan scones.

We walked along the disused railway line and stopped off here for a cake and drink before heading back. Very friendly. Fresh cake selection and cream teas! Dogs aren't allowed inside, but there is a covered area outside with some tables and a large garden with benches also. Dog biscuits are provided! 😂

First time I have been back here for a few years and was pleasantly surprised. Lots of tables, water bowls for the dogs in plentiful supply, free dog treat biscuits. The food was excellent, good atmosphere in nice surroundings, service impeccable and reasonable prices. I have recommended it to my parents, and I will be back again.

We called in for snacks and were extremely impressed by the friendliness of the staff and speed of service. My wife had tuna mayonnaise sandwiches and a meringue pie, I had pea and mint soup and beef sandwiches which were superb. We enjoyed these too much and shared a fruit scone! The wine and lattes (correctly hot for the latter rather than lukewarm) were also good. The chef there really knows his stuff, I asked about the beef and without going into detail of the preparation suffice to say that it was impressively effective, a real treat! Thoroughly recommended!

A really lovely place to stop for a cuppa tea (or cream tea eve). Lots of outside seating in the sun or shade. Dog friendly outside. Nice dog walk nearly too.

Was out walking and came across this place as part of the walk. Really enjoyed it here. Its a lovely place to stop and enjoy some food and drink. I went for a cup of tea and a sausage sandwich. Both very good. The place can get very busy because it this. The have selection of drinks and food is extensive. Friendly staff as well. Overall well worth stopping at this lovely tearoom😃

An absolute stunning setting and lovely atmosphere. Was told to try the salt beef sandwich as it's legendary but they had unfortunately sold out it's that popular, however the food I did get was just as good and made it well worth a visit, also dog friendly.

Lovely place for lunch, a cake or just a drink. Can get very busy as it's very popular. When busy parking can be a problem too. Best to book a table

I went there with mum, we had a scone each with jam and cream, it was delicious. It was very tidy and clean. A great souvenir shop. A lovely place to visit and have something to eat and drink and chat away.

This is a lovely little cafe and tea rooms. Warm and welcoming in the winter, with lots of outside tables for summer visits. Winter hours are limited so check before coming. Outside quick service kiosk for ice creams, drinks and snacks. The building is the old Holmsley station on the Ringwood to Brockenhurst railway, closed in the 1960s. There is plenty of parking on site. The old railway bed makes up the Castleman Trailway from Poole to Brockenhurst, and the tea rooms are a firm favourite among walkers and cyclists in the New Forest.

A return visit, with friends from France. Once more, fabulous cream teas were enjoyed, with freshly made scones(I did warn my friends that they were big... 😉). A lovely way to spend lunch, before a wander in the New Forest. Already looking forward to my next visit. 👌

Lovely tea rooms, amazing thick cut sandwiches just leaving enough room to squeeze in a delicious banoffee pie. Keeps us coming back time after time. Plenty of outdoor seating for walkers & cyclists etc. plus inside seating too.
