We ordered fish & chips and pie & chips. Fish was freshly cooked while we waited. Had to wait about 10 minutes (3 other people in front of us) Staffed were friendly and polite, the food was amazing.

One of the nicest fish and chips in years. On holiday but decided to try a local all year around one. Will now use regular when we're away.

A nice traditional chippy, and the fish and chips were good. They only took cash when I visited (ever more traditional!) So be aware if you visit. The staff were very friendly too, which is always nice!

Judging from the queue it's very popular. Lovely food but could do with something vegetarian on the menu

It was definitely open on a wednesday evening (google page needs updating) Hubby and I have just shared a huge portion of really scrummy chips with freshly battered cod.. steak and kidney pie and a sausage . Everything cooked to perfection. Friendly service, wonderful food.
