Stopped here as an intermediate location between Gosport and Bristol. We had no idea how it would be, only going by the website. We were not disappointed. The menu had a small selection of starters, mains and deserts. But each item was clearly thought out. I had the chicken tart starter served

Absolutely lovely little pub nice spot aswell with a really nice beer garden next to the river. The food was amazing would recommend the mussels starter again and again also the burgers and homemade chips were easily the best I've had in a long time. Very friendly staff. The pub is in a beautiful, quiet village. The Ship has a large car park and a beautiful pub garden that has a stream at the bottom. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was of a very good standard.
Super superior pub food. Well worth a visit, interesting seasonal menu. You will not be disappointed well a visit.. you will return. Friendly staff good selection of beers.
