Didn't eat on this visit, but will on next. Beer (Ale) was spot on. Would highly recommend for a pleasant trip. Also, Smoking area if needed is good

Great pub. Had a party in their private function room. There was a lot of space and a private bar in the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a good evening and pricing was also very good as well. There was some parking at the pub itself but you can park on the street close by if

Popped in for the first time. Friendly, unpretentious drinking pub. We had nice pints of Theakstons XB and Doombar. Rumours of Old Peculiar coming soon, so will be back again soon

Unfair to judge it in a bank holiday. Website said food Monday to Friday but not serving on a bank holiday. When the bar staff told us they neglected to offer the rolls on the bar. My OH being the Eagle eyed hungry person that he is noticed them. At £2 a pop they weren't worth it but we both had
