If you're looking for a Sunday roast, this is the place. We parked up and then went for a rather muddy hour walk around the area before coming back for lunch. By far the best roast I've ever had out. Potatoes were crispy, meat was delicious, even the veg were great. Lovely pub feel to it.
This pub is amazing, I haven't been since I was about 19 (which is about 29 years ago), but my family have been many times as live locally and were there last, back in May and it wasn't that great, but under new management now and the food was outstanding. We had excellent service, a wonderful table

Service was a little slow at times however, felt like we had to almost force ourselves up to pay! Food service speed was good however.
Great country pub, very little room inside the pub but a lovely garden to sit in and enjoy the amazing food. Service was great the bar staff very polite, friendly and attentive, our meal took a little while to come but was well worth the wait. I would recommend " The Fox " to everyone.
Please do not listen to any negative comments on this pub! We found this pub on a walk and oh wow have we found our local! The food is amazing but the landlady is especially amazing!! she is so lovely and so accommodating every time we have visited the food is amazing! Service is exceptional lovely
The food is good,but I've eaten there a few times now,but I wish the chef would cook the parsnips and carrots more ,they are not al dente but raw can't cut them with a knife and fork and are not pleasurable to eat,apart from that it has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and beautiful gardens.
We had a really tasty Sunday lunch at the Fox. The service was really warm and friendly too. Would definitely recommend.
We've just moved into the area and this pub is around the corner from us and very happy it is. Lovely place and great food. My wife made a mistake with her order and it was changed with no fuss at all. We will definitely be returning
What a lovely little place this is. Staff very welcoming too, a bunch of us arrived on bikes unannounced and was not made to feel unwelcome or out of place at all. I would definitely recommend popping in if you are near by.
