This is a great cafe with very friendly staff. The cheese scones are light and full of flavour and knock the spots off those served by other cafes in the area. There’s usually something to entertain you whilst looking outside or getting close up - think peacocks, goats, donkeys sheep so it’s lovely for children too. It can get a little noisy, some acoustic baffles on the ceiling would help with this. The deli and butchers counter are very tempting too.

Not sure why so few reviews so let's go! Once you get over you're In a cafe not a pub (guessing you know already before going lol) it's bloody brilliant. The two roasts we had were two of the best in the last year or so. Excellent gravy. Pork and Turkey, extra cauliflower cheese. Lovely veg. Fantastic roast potatoes. Everything just great. We hunted around to find the cows and had a chat with the goat before leaving. And even bought some sausages and bacon. Great place. Can't wait to return.

Lovely working farm with a cafe (i would suggest booking a table) Most meals about £14, good quality local ingredients. I had the Player which was a lot more filling than I expected. There are donkeys, pigs, sheep, peacocks, goats and cows to look at. A real hidden gem.

As a regular local customer of old hall farm I can say with conviction that it’s produce of raw milks of different flavours to please any taste buds and fine self produced meats to any requirement is of top quality. It’s also a real pleasure to be aided in this by a butcher of knowledge to any question presented. Robert a topical looking cleaver holding large butcher is mainly my professional to this shopping enjoyment! You will never see a prouder man of his meat window is nothing less than an arrangement of art. And if this dose not help you in your quest to find the best butcher around then my I add the fine deli and shop that beholds many accompanying items to present along side your meats of choice. You are facilitated around this venue by Kelly who is the most friendly and helpful and indeed informative if you need of her. She welcomes you in, hovers around you until she’s knows your completely satisfied to only then wish you the best day while your leaving. Now Danny and all the butchers and stuff with in the shop and butcher area are friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. All in all, them and the fine foods and drinks make this with out shadow of a doubt one of the best. Thank you all at old hall farm for making me feel welcome every and each time I visit.

We popped in this afternoon after deciding to change what we had planned tonight for a BBQ. Amazing choice as always, BEST pork & apple burgers, amazing herby sausages, fantastic piri piri chicken wings. All with the usual wonderful service. Can't wait to use the rump steak tomorrow!

Old Hall are about local produce, raised in beautiful rural surroundings in an ethically farmed environment. The food is good, the service is not hurried but attentive. I had the Ham, Eggs and rustic chips, the eggs were a little overdone for my liking but the ham was amazing! After brunch it was time to wander round the farm, there are productive Jersey cattle as well as goats and an emu so good fun for the kids. Dont forget the farm shop for amazing meat dairy and produce.

A great find, lovely little farm shop with lots of products of good quality. We stopped for a drink and something to eat, and we weren't disappointed, only wish I could of tried there home made cakes, as they looked lovely, and on the plus side, dog friendly too, if well behaved. A little farm walk, and a few animals to see. We will definitely be returning

A wonderful little gem, we went to the cafe and tried the raw milk - very tasty! The cows were in the shed with their calves which was nice to see. We also had the sausage rolls with onion chutney which were divine, they have quite a big menu for a small cafe - you can even get a Sunday roast. Well worth the visit.

We had a Sunday breakfast at the cafe. They serve a wonderful coffee! We had cappuccino, white coffee and Affogato. A real pleasure. For food we had small English breakfasts and yogurt and toast. The food was ok, yogurt to my taste was too sour nevertheless it was with fresh berries and oats. I’d rather add some honey probably. And our toast came without jam, keep an eye on yours:) The room was full with dogs, not all of them were well behaved (as it’s mentioned in front of the cafe). We wanted to seat outside but staff warned us about wasps, so we stayed inside. Even though some wasps visited us there as well:) Busy place and staff, probably it would help to add 1 more person to the team. We didn’t get a knife for the toast. Of course we asked and got it. I assume the cafe and the shop are pretty full during open hours. It’s better to reserve a table for any meal. Nice area around. Good choice of food. You will definitely have fun: peacocks, emu, goats, sheep live at the farm.
