Well this is a hidden gem. With access to the castle being a bonus to some of the most delightful treats for home cooked foodies. I had the panini which was spot on with bacon and a good cheese. The side salad was a step up from the token green decoration that is often the case with these things. The real treats though we're the orange hot chocolate and a cheese scone. Yes I really did eat all that!! The hot chocolate is proper thick hot hot chocolate and the hint of orange makes it all the more special. The cheese scones have a warmth to them from the mustard/pepper seeds in them and again are delicious. What a great place to lunch.

Stopped in on route to taking the children to visit the castle. Very glad we did. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The menu caters for children, vegetarians and my own appetite, not only are the prices very reasonable, the portion sizes are certain to satisfy even the hungriest of explorers. Very happy to recommend this place to all hungry visitors to Bungay. Top tip....the hot chocolate is unbelievable.

Nice little place and staff very friendly. Food good and well priced. Outside seating and courtyard could do with a little updating. Had the ploughman's roll which was 5 stars. Will go again.

I always come here if I want a bite to eat in bungay as I am gluten free. They have gluten free cakes, paninis, wraps and bread! I love their milkshake too. Casual and nice setting next to the castle, outdoor seating too.

Stopped off just for coffee today but the service was good and it’s a nice setting. Although we didn’t eat it looked like quite a good menu and very reasonably priced.

Brilliant to see this café reopened now renamed as Bigods Pantry. Open for takeaway during the second lockdown so still a great cycling stop.
