Lovely little bistro just off the seafront. Ideal for a lunch break during a coastal walk. Made to feel very welcome in these Covid times!
An extensive menu with lots of specials. We had the seafood chowder and crab salad - both extremely tasty and made with quality ingredients. Great desserts and good wine list too. The surroundings are homely and all of the staff are very friendly. Definitely worth a visit.
Only ever used the window for takeaway food but if that's anything to go by then will have to treat ourselves someday. Never let us down (except when closed π€£) food lush & hot and leaves you wanting more. Ice-cream is delicious to and it's become a regular haunt for my family and I to stop off at on the way to the beach, perfect in everyway and staff are polite and friendly. ππ»ππ
Very friendly staff, delicious local fresh seafood (and not only), very good coffee (not very often in the UK!).
We were after some good home cooked food after a few days of eating junk on holiday and this didn't disappoint. Prices are good, food is great and there is a warm welcome.
Excellent service. Covid precautions done well. Had lunch. Fish chowder starter (could have been the only course for a lighter lunch) followed by crab salad. Both excellent. Menu was difficult, particularly the specials, as I liked the look of everything on it!
Really nice fish n chips, lovely crispy batter and crispy chips, big portions as well. We had this as a takeaway. We may try the dining in next time as dogs are allowed.
Lovely restaurant. Went as a large group and had our own separate room which was great - for us and other diners as we got a bit loud. Food was nice, big selection and pretty quick to come out. Veggie tagine was delicious and big portions.
What a gem hidden just off the High Street this unassuming Bistro is warm and welcoming with a great menu and specials board. Food is cooked fresh and is fairly priced for the medium budget. Noticed they have a special Christmas menu for day and evening on the run up to Christmas that we will, be returning to try.
We've visited on numerous occasions since living down in Budleigh and received meals and service of a consistently high standard. In short, a fabulous place to go for great food, served by friendly staff in a relaxed atmosphere and at reasonable prices. Can't really ask for more from a restaurant.
Had a lovely breakfast here last week. The waitress was friendly and the food was served quickly. Haven't given the cafe 5 stars as the sausages were not high quality ones.
