Starters were amazing but I’ve found the mains not as special. The ingredients were quite plain and the presentation of my prawn linguine was not amazing. The restaurant otherwise was well decorated and spacious. The staff were very friendly!

The place to come for an upmarket dining experience in Bude. Whilst the wait time for the food was a little longer than we hoped for, it didn't disappoint when it arrived. For dessert, make sure you try the battered Mars or Snickers bars. Absolutely fantastic 😍

Amazing food, really good service, great drinks and cocktails. Had a snack, 3 small plates, 1 large, and 2 desserts, super high quality, reasonable price. Definitely would come back again. Tapas style which we really like. Felt really casual and relaxed but also fine dining quality food. 11 out of 10 loved it.

Fantastic restaurant all round! Really good service, all the waiting staff were especially nice. The food was amazing and great value for money. A cozy atmosphere. They were great for menu options, so my fussy 11yo was happy too and really enjoyed his meal. Can’t wait to come back!

Potters has changed format since we last went, choosing to focus on fresh fish and chips rather than a more fine dining experience. We were a bit disappointed initially as we had such a great experience last time but we needn’t have worried. The food was still excellent and the service remains great. Potters is a very friendly, local restaurant and deserves to succeed. The whitebait is probably the best I’ve ever had. We’ll definitely return. Great value too.

This is a very cute little place. We stopped in for lunch and we’re literally the only people there. My sense is this is more of an evening dining venue, downstairs seating was limited. However, the menu was full and delicious. Great fresh fish, a chef aiming to do fun and interesting takes on the traditional. Chips slightly over triple cooked for my liking, but nonetheless, can’t fault the effort of ingredients. Too early in the day for a whisky unfortunately, however the beer options were pretty on point! Enjoy 🥃

Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Absolutely superb from start to finish. High quality ingredients in each dish with beautifully balanced flavours. Great staff, great ambience and great value (we had the taster menu). The Potters would not be out of place alongside Michelin starred establishments.

We had an absolutely lovely dinner at Potters whilst on holiday in Cornwall last week. We went on a Tuesday night, and were worried that it might be a bit quiet, but we shouldn't have been concerned. They've got a lovely space, very stylish, with a really nice ambience, and there were plenty of people there creating a nice buzz. The staff were great, friendly, helpful, and couldn't have gone to more trouble to ensure we enjoyed our dinner. And then the food! I'd pretty much given up on Bude as a gastronomic venue, but Potters was brilliant! We had the a la carte menu, and every dish was faultless. Beautiful to look at, and even better to eat! Only sadness was that we didn't have time to go back again later in the week, but we will definitely be booking on our next visit. If you're thinking of a North Cornish gastro experience, you might find that rather than heading to the Padstow/Rock/Port Isaac honeypots, that dinner at Potters is at least as good as, and certainly better value, than their more famous neighbours. Highly recommended!

Absolutely perfect. The taster menu was so delicious from start to finish. The first duck course was outstanding, yet somehow it still got better and better. Service was lovely Calm and friendly staff, and the restaurant itself had a gentle buzz and a feeling of being somewhere special.

Potters is a two level restraint. The bottom floor is a lounge for nice drinks and coffee. The upper level is where the food is served. They are usually booked so make reservations a few days in advance. The food is well prepared classics locally sourced.

Great food, nice decor, but felt a bit soulless, they should use the upstairs restaurant much nicer.
