Run by a fantastic friendly lady who does all the cooking herself. Freshly prepared Chinese food. It's not the widest selection but very tasty food at a very reasonable price. Service was great. Drinks were very cheap. We really enjoyed our meal.

Having read the reviews, we weren't quite sure what to expect. However, the food hygiene rating was 5, so we thought that was promising. We have to say, the place was spotless, even the loos. It was a Monday evening and very busy. We ended up sharing a table with a couple of strangers. But we had a nice chat with them over dinner. It was a pleasant evening. Now to the food. It is served as a buffet, not table service, but that was what we expected. The selection was varied, tasty and freshly cooked. It was also restocked throughout our stay. We very much enjoyed what we ate. The drinks menu included cornish ales, which was good to see, and they were competatively priced. Some of the bad reviews imply the good ones are fake. I can assure you tjis is genuine and that although I have visited Bude many times before, this is my first visit to Wei Chung's, and I have no relationship with the proprietor. This is a great little Chinese buffet, competatively priced, well prepared, and very clean. We will return.
This was our first visit to this restaurant. The food was delicious, all of it was lovely but especially the duck and pancakes! There was plenty of food, it is buffet style and it was frequently replenished. The lovely lady who owns it and cooks all the food was charming, an amazing lady. Everywhere was clean, (and the toilets were spotless). We will definitely eat there again next time we are in Bude.
Greeted with warm welcome shown to table drinks out in quick time while we did our taste run. Excellent food hot tastie huge choice. Light pleasant music quitley playing in background did not spoil conversation and the decor was clean bright. Price was excellent where else can you eat all you want have pudding and drink for under £20
First class ,normally we would avoid help your self like the plague
But as we fancied Chinese food and in Bude sit downs are limited to this or nowt
We went for it and we're not disappointed the wine menu is red/ white or rose That's your choice 3:flavours
£12.50 a bottle and delicious it was too, not £25 like most places.
Plenty of dishes to choose from and not what we would normally order but I'm glad as it made me have something different and every single dish was gorgeous, cooked with love.
Absolute gem of a place and the owner is an incredible lady who does it all with a smile on her face and a very warm welcome.
A lovely meal out at Wei Cheng in Bude. The food was 10/10, so tasty and fresh! The service was amazing as well, the owner was very lovely and was making sure everything was okay for us. The premesis themselves were spotless too. I would recommend this to anyone!
The staff were incredibly friendly as soon as we walked in, my little sister has dietary requirements and we were at an event where she wasn’t catered for so only popped on the off chance of getting a bag of chips to takeaway.

From start to finish, we we charmed by this lovely place. My daughter came here by chance a year ago and wanted to visit again as very impressed...I'm glad we did!
Wei, the owner, welcomed us, took our drink orders, served us, cooked all the food and ensured all guests were happy and catered for..so very admirable!
The food was home cooked with fresh ingredients...for example, delicious crunchy water chestnuts and fresh colourful broccoli and all for really exceptional value!
The atmosphere was welcoming and authentically decorated, spotlessly clean and Covid friendly.
I highly recommend this place for a visit..just bring a medal for Wei...she deserves it!!
Amazing food! We had the all you can eat buffet and I'd definitely recommend it! £16 for as much as you want and plenty of selection! I'd recommend booking as it gets busy.
All you can eat buffet is always a winner for me. The restaurant Is spotless and so are the toilets. always a good sign. Very reasonable prices and above excellent service from the lady host. Head over to this place. You will not be disappointed
My Mrs and I went there last year. We'd definitely go again & we're gonna next week. The hostess... She's mint. 2 problems though. 1. We're gutted this restaurant is only seasonal (it should be all year round). 2. They need to cut back on the salt. The food is good but far too salty.
We were very unsure at 1st but couldn't have been more suprised. Awsome little Chinese. Food was very tasty. Excellent host. All home cooked and would definitely go back and recommend.
Spot on. Its a little restaurant/takeaway. The lady doesn't have a massive selection but what is there is perfect. She knows what you like and its cooked perfectly. Also "No MSG" used 👌
Superb food, well served in buffet style. Very pleasant staff who are eager to please. Clean and bright I could not fault the place. Five stars well earned. We will be back.

Absolutly wonderful food . Wei was very attentive at my husbands 70th birthday party which we had at wei cheng restaurant on 8th april 2022. We will be back on weds 20th for my special day. Thankyou so much wei for making it a memorable day.
Fantastic place to eat, food was great, plenty of choice and well cooked, the lady who runs the place Wei, is lovely, she cannot do enough for you, I would highly recommend eating here, we will definitely be going back again
