What an amazing little gem overlooking the beach. We had dinner here one night during our visit to Cornwall. The staff are very friendly and knowledge of both the food and drink on offer. A fantastic selection of gin with many local Cornish ones to sample. The food too was amazing and lots of locally sourced produce on the menu. The salt and pepper squid is a must have!! We will certainly be back on our next visit

Had burgers at lunch. Awesome local meat and great staff. Will come back again even if only for a great burger. Lots of seafood available too and a great view overlooking the beach.

Food was excellent and brilliant staff. A huge thankyou to the kind waiter who asked us if we would like to move to a table so we could see the bay, and what a fabulous view. A lovely evening fully recommend it.

Superb breakfast for 4 of us Sunday morning. Such well presented food and excellent customer service - fast, attentive, and with great humour. The sun came out and we sat outside to eat. Can't believe we've live here all this time and not found this little gem. Will become a favourite for sure. Will bring the camera next time! Well done you guys.

What a fantastic place to eat, everything is fresh, the staff are lovely, a dog friendly place too! Our one year old enjoyed the scampi, the dogs and the waiter was brilliant with them. Price is reasonable I would say the portions are fantastic and the quality is amazing. The muscles were huge! The brownie dessert was out of this world. Parking is just down the way in the local park, it's about a 5 minute walk if that. Views out to the coast if you dine outside and a lovely comfortable area inside if you do not want to eat outside. If you are in Bude this is one place to not miss!

Popped in here after visiting the beach. We saw it on the hill and thought we'd have a lot. It's not easily sign posted. Anyway we had good and the mussels were absolutely brilliant with sea bream and potatoes. A great surprise for a beach bar. Friendly service too.

Nice food and location , great views of the harbour. The specials were fresh tasting, innovative and reasonably priced. Like the use of hazelnuts with halibut and the truffle sauce with chowder. Will give these a go when cooking. John

Great food and was a very busy little restaurant. Good atmosphere and staff were friendly. Quick take away food which tasted great. The only thing that was annoying was the price as there was a few of us getting take away food.

beautiful large beach you can surf as much as you want because there are great waves and there are lifeguards all the time every day it is one of the most organized beaches the one in Bude has surfing schools you can sign up so it is quite popular but not crowded😍😍

The cheese and bacon chips were delicious as was the kentucky chicken burger. Highly recommend the cold river cider. The views over the sea are stunning, albeit fairly windy being so close to the coast. Plenty of seating inside and out. The one thing I will say is the vegetarian menu could do with a few more options.

Great place by the Beach in Bude, good food, great staff, benches and tables outside to eat/drink with lovely views. Lots of families there when I went last week. No parking as it’s literally on a headland on the beach, up an incline.

Idyllic location just above the beach at Bude. Lovely, reasonably priced seafood. A perfect way to unwind and watch the sunset after a long drive from Yorkshire!

I’ve been invited to a party at "Life's a Beach" in Bude, Cornwall and I must say, it was an absolute delight. The location is absolutely stunning, situated right on the tip of Bude Beach with breathtaking views of the sea pool. We were lucky enough to experience a romantic sunset while we were there, which was a highlight of the trip. The staff at "Life's a Beach" were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. They really added to the overall enjoyable experience. We were a big group celebrating a birthday and everyone had a great time. I was also really impressed with the interior and architecture of the restaurant. It had a surfer village style which added to the laid-back, beachy atmosphere. All in all, I would highly recommend "Life's a Beach" to anyone visiting Bude, Cornwall. It's a must-see!

We didn't expect a beach restaurant with that view and location to be very special when it comes about food. But it definitely was. Besides some fast food options they serve really well made seafood. We had the shrimp (with cheese fries) and a pot of mussels. Both cooked to perfection, fresh and nicely spiced (and not over-spiced). Staff was friendly, food arrived fast - despite the place being packed. Our English Bulldog was welcome in the outside area. Great food, fair prices. Fantastic location. What else you need. A really good place to grab a bit, a beer - before or after visiting the beach.

Dog friendly in the outside seating area. Even bought our dogs their own bowl of water. The best fish and chips we have had in a very long time. Food came out very quickly. Will be back.

Always a pleasure to be back at L.A.B. especially after a particularly bracing walk with the dog on Summerleaze beach in wild Atlantic weather. Menu's been revamped since last vist, and excellent and prompt table service much appreciated. Food was freshly cooked, locally sourced, recommend the Lamb Koftas and of course, cheesy chips. End of half term week so lots of families with young kids in addition to a dog under most tables. Good atmosphere 👌

Absolutely lovely place with helpful staff. Just next to the sea for wonderful views and lots of food and drink options. Currently they are asking people to order on there phones but I believe they have other options if this isn’t doable. They have both oat and soy milk for vegans and those who need a dairy free option and decaf coffee too. The menu is mostly sea food based but they do have vegan and vegetarian options. The tofu with Asian salad and the cauliflower wings were both amazing. They even have a tap water space so you can fill up any water bottles.
