The Barge - Bude - Photo album

Popped in to escape the rain and had a really tasty scone and hot chocolate. It's a small place so you do find yourself sitting very close to, or looking directly at, other people which is a little too close for me. But it's on a boat so its expected. The food was very well presented and the luxur
What an amazing idea. Lunch on a barge. It's like a Tardis inside. Plenty of room, friendly staff, very clean, excellent fish and chips (xl piece of fish). Well priced. And you can park almost next to it. There is also a takeaway window. Well done to all that created and work here. 10/10
Lovely place for a lunch, cream tea or just of coffee. Very warm welcoming staff and a good selection of cakes. Seat in or out by the Quayside. Highly recommended.
Lovely experience at the barge with friends and their children. We had creams teas that where delicious. Staff where very friendly and helpful. Not too expensive. Definitely recommend a visit
So nice to relax with a lovely vegan hot chocolate drink, if you have never tried one you may well be very happaly surprised. The food looked really good as well.
Lovely relaxing place, just for a coffee or food. Both are excellent. Really friendly with great views of the canal.
Fantastic little cafe on a barge, with a solid fuel stove to warm us up having been caught in the rain. Cream tea was fantastic; really fresh warm scones. Remember, always jam first in Cornwall!
We have just returned from a late lunch on the barge and we all had a lovely experience and lovely food. There were 7 of us and 2 dogs and they accommodated us with no problem. The young girl who served us was so polite and attentive. The food was lovely and hot and the coffee was the best we'd had
Wow wow wow! This place is wonderful, delicious food, helpful staff and a great location to just pop in and have a cuppa!
Gorgeous little barge, very clean, comfortable, quaint and with a lovely atmosphere. The food (fish and chips and pasta with garlic bread) were the best we’d had in Cornwall, great quality and pricing. Staff were wonderful and the views out of the windows whilst dining are lovely. Highly recommend a
Stopped at the Barge for a take awaycoffee. Sat on the ver comfortable benches outside. The coffee was lovely, a beautiful place to sit and enjoy your drink, have a chat with friends. You can eat in, I didn't because it was such a lovely day. Good pathway to walk to the Barge, scenic views of the lo
Really lovely cream tea, me and my family came here. The scone was nice, the cream and jam plentiful and a nice cup of tea. The two ladies that served us were nothing but friendly and smilie. If only we were local.
We are here whilst visiting Bude for the day. The team were friendly and efficient. The food was really good quality and good portion sizes. They also had some lovely looking cakes. We didn’t try these as we ate a main meal however would definitely be going back again soon to try the cake.
The staff was nice, the place was amazing and the food (even though it's a little expensive) was delicious. For a day trip to Bude I would highly recommend coming here.I had onion rings, cheesy chips and a brownie for 10.5£
Great place for a coffee and cake, great selection of hot chocolates (which my daughter loved). Cakes were excellent.
Very friendly staff and delicious food. Such a cute venue and dog friendly too. Amazing hot chocolate and coffee.
Great spot on the canal by the beach. Lovely interior and all the food was fantastic.
Unique experience... it's not just called The Barge, it is a barge! Friendly service and tasty view. And a duck's eye view of Bude canal.
Wonderful floating restaurant, great breakfasts and the best fish and chips. Fish caught in the bay by local fisherman so superbly fresh.
