Nice little French coffee shop! Friendly staff, great and quick service, plus it's very cosy inside! Traditional French food and pastry to eat and cry for more! Although the menu is very varied and includes, for example, English Breakfast. If you are a fan of the portugese little star Pastel de Nata, Rue Gourmet have delicious ones to go with or without an expresso. So happy the pouring rain took me inside this Tuesday 😊 It was an amazing finding!

We love Rue. Their coffees and crepes are delicious and the staff are so friendly. Great for kids, and dog friendly too. We have been to a few of their themed nights and they are run so brilliantly - everyone chatting - a lovely way to get to know other locals (and usually eat cheese and drink wine!) A gem of place! (There are two steps to get in, but the staff have always been so nice and helped me in with the buggy, or come to the outside table to take orders too!)

This is a really nice cafe - great food, coffee and atmosphere! All food freshly prepared so there's a little wait, but well worth it.

Whatever anyone does in life, u must frequent this little part of France, located in Buckhurst Hill. I love this place. Coffee great. Breakfast great. Lunch great. And my best time ....a lovely evening drink with a delicious cheese board on a Thursday, Fri or Saturday . Rue Gourmet has such fantastic style. Enjoy the vibe.

My new favourite local! Have been popping down here lately for a lunchtime walk during lockdown and the staff are so lovely. Everything I’ve eaten and drank has been great, particularly the pastel de nata which is literally the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve eaten a lot of them!
