great organic shop with friendly local people who become your friends if you come often enough : ) and fantastic coffee and artisan bread. a community interest shop, most of the workers are volunteers (of all ages) - volunteering there seems to be a great way to get to know people if you've just moved to the area, and do the community a service while at it ; )

I have been volunteering in the Seed since I moved to Buckfastleigh over 3 years ago. I have made a lot of friends, met many like-minded people. And it is great to be serving customers healthy organic food.

I love this place. The seed is making a real impact with its organic, substainable approach to food. The staff work very hard to make this place work as a social hub too and they sell amazing organic coffee and lovely teas. My favourite is Earl grey. Jack is my favourite barista, because he makes my coffee just so, and talks so nicely to the older ladies, bless him. But they are all great and this place is a must visit if you are coming to Buckfastleigh.
Listed as a 'Health food shop' but this place is so much more! They are moving in the right direction with their large range of plastic free produce. They also serve organic coffee and tea with a cosy seating area available! Keep up the good work!
This is a fantastic wholefood and fruit and veg shop with a wide range and also toiletries and supplements .. wonderful staff and open 7 days a week .. 7 til 7 weekdays and a shorter day on Sunday. I use it every week for most of my shopping.
