The BEST carvery I have had in a long time! I had the roast beef and it was pink in the middle and juicy. Tasty red cabbage, carrots, parsnips, stuffing balls etc. Excellent value at £14/head too. Will be returning again soon, thank you.
When out cycling I usually look for quaint cafes to stop for a coffee and a cake, but on this occasion, I met my family and sat with an amazing view of the Abbey while we enjoyed some of the most amazing cakes I've had in a while along with a very nice coffee.

THE GRANGE RESTAURANT IS WITHIN BUCKFAST ABBEY I WAS VISITING BENEDICTINE MONASTERY WITH TRURO CATHEDRAL FRIENDS GROUP
An amazing Sunday roast pitstop on our way home from Plymouth.
Nice setting to eat lunch, it’s not quite a restaurant and a bit more like a cafeteria where you go up, choose your food from what’s there and pay for what you have taken. More choice would have been nice but overall good experience.
Very nice carvery, bit of a queue but well worth it !
A stunning Abbey and gardens topped off by a delicious roast meat and veggie options clear plates all round.
I work in around the local area and use the Grange Restaurant daily as my Coffee and brunch stop. It's always immaculate. The staff are so polite and friendly . I've now been nearly every day for 5 months! They even take the time to chat ! Food is lovely and nothing seems to much trouble. Would rec
Absolutely fantastic. Service was impeccable, quality of food was perfect, atmosphere was friendly and warming. Uttermost credit to Martin and Charlotte for being kind and helpful throughout my visit.
What a lovely cafe.
They serve the usual drinks and foods, that are of a very good quality and looked highly tempting. On a personal note, the Latte coffee I had, was truly devine.
Everywhere looked very clean and well cared for. All the staff we interacted with, were lovely.
Very nice cafe. Very open and light. Bit cold when we first arrived but warmed up.
Only had tea but was ok. Cakes etc looked really nice.
The Grange is great and well worth a visit. We've been here every time we've been down to Devon and it never fails to impress. The food is alway good and the price is reasonable. The staff were really helpful with our little one this year, despite how difficult she was being.
This buffet self service is fantastic especially for groups and staff ext kind.
Fantastic location facing the beautiful Abbey grounds and lovely place outside for an “al fresco” lunch or tea time. Their espresso coffee is really good and feeling is. Is smart and relaxed.
Lovely cakes, we were also served by a lovely young man, I think his name was Corey? Beautiful smile and he made our days much better!
