My dog and I had such a great stay and felt really cared for! Great for the Two Moors way. Awesome black out curtains and cosy bed and room. Great food. They went above and beyond to do gluten free and vegan food options. Definitely recommend.
A welcome stop at the end of a long day's walk from Ugborough. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, good dinner. Sausages at breakfast could have been better cooked, but apart from that, all was excellent.
Lovely location, friendly staff and yummy food. Also very dog friendly. Didn't stay over so don't know about rooms, but pub was great. Fab views from restaurant.
We had a very enjoyable 3-night stay. Comfortable room, stunning views, good food and beer and lovely owners who helped us out with maps and recommendations for where to visit. Couldn't have asked for more.
Stayed here Saturday 29/07/23 night. The room was lovely and clean and very comfortable. The breakfast I had Sunday morning was lovely. If I’m ever in the area again I will definitely book again. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Walkers pub, excellent real ale on cask, value for money freshly cooked tasty pub grub. Nice views out back, good for kids and dogs. Venison burger and pie were both good. Landlord is dry but amusing. Would return for an ale or three!
Just had an evening meal here while on holiday nearby. Food was fantastic. The welcome and service was great. We will definitely visit again and would recommend to anyone.
A lovely traditional country inn. The rooms were spotlessly clean and had been recently decorated. The food was delicious and very plentiful, and the owners were friendly and nice to deal with.
Stayed there 3 nights… we were welcome on the fully booked Guest Chef. Kevin and Suzie are great hosts.
Delightful views over rural Dartmoor farmland make for the perfect stop on a round-the-moor cycle trip or any trip, really.
Just got back from a stay here - can’t recommend this place enough. Lovely location, fantastic views, fabulous food but most of all the owners & their staff made it a 100% enjoyable stay. They made us and our 2 dogs (even the grumpy one) feel completely welcome & comfortable & we’ll definitely be ba
It is a very welcoming pub that was clean and well presented. They had a good range of Dartmoor beer available and it was poured in the correct glass. The menu was well thought through (not just your pub grub) and the food was well presented and prompt. All the staff were friendly and it also had p
Really lovely pub B+B with fantastic views, great accomodation and the food was delicious. We arrived early so managed to sample the evening menu too! Thoroughly recommend the brisket and the Mac and cheese! The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and we look forward to visiting again soon
Just returned home following a 3 night stay. Brilliant! The welcome on arrival was warm and friendly, the room was great. Full English breakfast was always amazing, local bacon and sausages. Evening meals were great on portions and food cooked really well (chips are insane!). Choice of beers, wines,
This pub is a hidden gem. The welcome, the food, the friendly service is second to none. Kevin is a great host, whilst Suzanne is an excellent support.....ensuring the kitchen and accommodation is all it should be...An added bonus is the local life injected into this traditional pub. Everyone knows
Extremely clean inside and very friendly staff. Not the busiest of places for obvious reasons and ample parking for any time of day or night. My 1 single gripe was on the day we visited, we sat in the garden which wasn't as well looked after as the inside and it even had dog poop in amongst the slig
