I heard the Y Groeslon had re-opened so called in with my wife to sample the real ale. Had a good pint of Doom Bar. Received a friendly welcome from the landlady and great to see the pub busy. Looking forward to going back as this is the nearest pub to where we live in Dwyran.
Fantastic pub. I love the pub. Colourful,
Stopped here on our way back to our holiday accommodation over the Menai, after a tour round Anglesey in the car. Got there 5 mins before food service time was to end, felt a little bad but the nice chap behind the bar was fine with us ordering food (I'm guessing the owner).
The food was delicious, well needed and we both cleared our plates (I was hoping to get a piece of the Mrs's Scampi)
My Gammon was amazing, such a large steak, and cooked perfectly with crispy rind ππ
Many thanks would love to visit again when in the area.
Just called in for a cheeky pint, found a group of musicians playing loads of classic acoustic music.
Apparently they play every Thursday afternoon.
Had a great time π
Landlady was really friendly.
Definitely worth a visit π
As a return visitor, I was happy to bring my sisters family to have a meal here whilst she holidayed nearby. 5 of us had various pizzas and one had sausage, egg and chips. We all enjoyed our food and the pizzas are always tasty here and cooked to perfection. Nothing is too much trouble for the friendly staff. There are a large variety of drinks served at the bar and the strawberry cider went down very well with a couple of us. The views across to the evening sunlit mountain range were stunning. Dog friendly too. We shall return again, sooner rather than later. 5 stars. βοΈ βοΈ βοΈ βοΈ βοΈ
Brilliant pub, lovely decorated with a nice vibe! Everything you want from a games room to tvs for sports and good selection on tap
Very nice pub grub. Very nice to have a great local pub that is dog and child friendly. Service was excellent with very kind and helpful staff who were accommodating with our child, providing us with a child seat etc.
We stayed close by to the pub on a boys golf holiday
We found the pub Alun & most of the regulars very very friendly and helpful.
On 2 occasions we ate there the food is simple but more the good served professionally.
The place is spotlessly clean great beer very reasonable price
Would like to say a big thank you to all for a very very entertaining week
Ps FREE BEER ON A FRIDAY LUNCH TIME ππππ
Cheers Richard
Came in while visiting family in the area. Showed sports with a fantastic atmosphere, very relaxed and welcoming. Messaged on Google to check it was on and got a swift reply. Couldn't ask for better. Good seating, poll area, and good smoking area.
Fantastic service - lovely food and very welcoming ππ would visit again .
Nice local pub. We didn't have any food, but good service and a nice pint. Oh and a pool table!
We visited on a Friday around 6 pm it was nice and quiet we had the pizza... Wow they were delicious fresh cooked not sloppy or doughy just right.. Chips as a side were good too.. Staff were lovely not a massive menu to choose from... Burgers... Fish and chips and pizzas but enough to fill you up good home cooked food I reccomend it.. I have driven past many times.. Always said must go in there... So don't drive past try it its nice thanks to the staff...
Food great, little atmosphere as quite empty, great service.
Dog friendly.
A quintessential Welsh pub offering the usual meals and all with a friendly smile.
Easy parking opposite the pub, very clean and spacious interior, great menu, friendly locals and a very relaxed atmosphere.
Highly recommended country pub...
Didn't eat here , just drinks so can't comment on food but it's a very pleasant pub with a pool table in a back room.
Fab pub. Dropped in for a spot on lunch on the way home from Maltreath. Only place open and serving food (itβs winter). Had a selection of food, pizza, scampi, chicken nugs, bangers and chips and a kids ham egg and chips. Pizza was great, chips were standard home fries but everything was nice and well cooked. Good selection of beers, decent pint of Guiness. The decor throughout was modern, clean and welcoming. Pool table in the back room too. Will be back!
Cosy pub with good selection on the menu, we had 2 different pizzas and gammon and chips. Coffees also served which is nice on a cold day.
Parking is off site and was very busy tonight as there was also something happening in the church hall, but we still managed to park ok.
