I had the halloumi fries and hunters bbq chicken deep fat fried, and them both were absolutely amazing! Definitely recommend.
Been here a few times and the food had always been fantastic. Took my dad for a birthday lunch here on a Sunday. The roast was really tasty! Service was fantastic and our waitress was attentive and friendly. She offered advice on what to order and went above and beyond to find a drink for us. Defi
I’ve visited this pub numerous times so far this year and always have a very positive experience. The decor is lovely and if you have time to take a look at some of the framed pictures on the wall, you will see some interesting historical features including the old Broxbourne mill and canal related
Great food fantastic services definitely would recommend and I will be going back there again special thanks to both Kirsty's for going the extra mile for my kid's great pub.
Popped in for lunch post renovation. In short excellent food, service and general setup. Lovely spot right by the canals will ample outside seating (imagine it gets quite full in summer). Food wise we had fish and chips and salmon - both excellent. Service also very attentive so zero complaints :)

My son and I visited on Thursday evening and there was a good choice of draft beer and food. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. We asked to have a starter of just king prawns without scallops (which I'm allergic to) and that was no problem. My main was chicken pie, which had a lovely crisp flak
Really enjoyed The Crown. Our server was called Emily (I'm pretty sure) best waitress I've had in a long time. Attentive and efficient and not over bearing. Thank you Emily, your an asset to your management Toilets needed a little attention. Bit grubby. Not check enough maybe
We stopped here at the end of our walk along the Lea navigation. There is a good range of drinks, slightly limited on draught cider. Inside was well decorated and was very inviting. We sat out in the beer garden which was stunning with views out on to the river. The food other people were eating
