I absolutely love the food here. It’s definitely a hidden gem! The steak is so good, it beats TGI Fridays or miller and carter, and it’s less than half the price. The service is always amazing too, they’re all lovely people and are always happy to see us. I would recommend it to anyone!
What a little gem of a restaurant - Love this place. 5 of us dined here on Friday 01/07/2022 and honestly, everything was delicious! As a guide we ordered the large mix grill, 3 types of paneer dishes, vegetable rice, naans and rotis and drinks. Every item had its own unique taste. This is rear on
Intended to go to cardamon but couldn't get in, considered going to the hungry horse, but then decided to give open house a try. Pleasantly surprised and happy that we ended up there tonight. Food was very tasty and freshly cooked. Had to wait a little while but the food was worth it. The starter wa
So you see a place reviewed and you wonder will it live up to its review. I was going to find out. The place was quaint and nicely done inside. Not large. It was quiet which is what I like. The food and the service was definately worth more than the 5 stars. The food was beautiful and filling and as
Had a fantastic meal this evening. Absolutely fantastic food, flavour and service. Mixed grill starter, followed by currys with naans. A hidden gem, which we spontaneously stumbled across on Google Maps. Some nice decor. We'll definately be returning. Thanks guys!
Was pleasantly surprised, the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The food was very well presented and delicious. I made a couple of changes to the food based on my own preference and nothing was too much to ask for. Was with a friend who is normally very fussy with food but he equally enjoy
Fantastic food and great service. Definitely try the Nepalese options rather than opt for the 'traditional' English curries, as the flavours are fantastic and it's a nice change to the usual British Indian Restaurant. I had Sherpa Chicken as a main and was impressed with the flavours and the chicken
Booked a table for 7pm this evening , arrived 20 minutes early but as we were the only customers this was no problem . Open House is a steak house/ burger / Indian and Nepalese restaurant , an eclectic mix I’m guessing to satisfy the requirements of all their customers but the Nepalese Sherpa Curry,
lovely place..staff very friendly...food absolutely amazing.. would highly recommend..will definitely be coming back
Lovely friendly restaurant with lots of choice. Definitely will return!
Food here is 10/10 definitely recommend.
We have already eaten here about 6 times at least. Tonight was another lovely meal. The food is always excellent, the same as the service. It's about 25 miles round trip for us but it's worth it because it's one of only a very small number of tandoori restaurants we would be happy to eat at and we h
The ‘Open House’ is a restaurant situated in a very lovely town in the UK. As you enter the place, a magnificent setting, a delightful marriage of antique cut stones and the luxuries of modernity welcome you. Sitting in any table, you have a wonderful view of the workshop-like kitchen where you can
If there was a chance to add more stars we would. It's the best place to go for a curry, salmon or mixed grill dish and many more options. We don't go anywhere else now. We have takeaway from here too. Absolutely smashing food, good prices and brilliant service. It's always a pleasure to go there, a
Since I last visited this restaurant has been taken over and expanded. There is now more seating room and the menu although smaller caters for different tastes other than Indian. With steak and wings an option. The food is well cooked and hygiene levels are excellent. A good choice if not every
Great place to try Nepalese curries. Dine-in is better than take-away (for quality of meat, but at least it's non-Halal so no real complaints). My recommendation for the owner is to reduce the amount of salt; customers should never be able to taste salt in anything, especially the rice. Also, people
Lovely attentive staff, great service and food
I have never eaten at this restaurant before but I have to say despite a short delay on drinks being served and on the food coming out plus a free round of complementary drinks due to delay the food was well worth the wait. The waitress was so lovely too, a big thumbs up from me, I will be visiting
