Absolutely amazing. Reduced menu at the moment as they have just reopened the kitchen. The fish and chips were better than any I have had for ages. Absolutely gorgeous. Lovely welcoming staff and great environment
The Red Lion is not only open, but has also upgraded the interior, as well as the exterior, at a time when other pub restaurants are marking time. Lovely lunch yesterday and looking forward to a Sunday roast today.
A friend and I took a 10k ramble with dog, and stopped off for a light lunch at The Red Lion.
We donned masks and used the hand gel, and gave our details, then we sat in the garden and drank very nice cappuccinos.

We ordered stake away last night, we had a very quick time to pick it up and the meal was fantastic, plenty of food well cooked with a good selection of vegetables. Thank you team we will be back soon.
Had 40 guests for my husband's birthday and it was amazing all meals very hot, service was so quick and as always the food was excellent. Certainly the number of people did not spoil the quality we expect from the red lion and it's staff. A birthday to remember. A big thanks to every one.
Friendly staff, great service. Tasty substantial meal, well cooked with delicious sauce. Reasonable price. We will definitely return to taste the rest of the menu.
