We came to this restaurant to celebrate a family member's milestone birthday. The lunch menu gives a 2-course and 3-course combination of starters, mains, and desserts with ample choices.
We, a party of 13, ordered and sampled varieties of dishes from the lunch menu. For starters: we chose Pate della Casa, Oriental Tempura King Prawns, Seafood Salad, Mussels Provencal; mains: Duck Leg, Spicy Pork, Slow Roasted Pork, Braised Beef, Spaghetti alla Bolognese, Fettuccine al Salmone, Fusilli Amatriciana, and Lasagna. All dishes were mostly well prepared with good presentation.
In addition, we ordered garlic bread, garlic bread Mexicano, and garlic bread & cheese. To top it off, we had Mixed Berry Meringue Nest and Vanilla ice cream as dessert.
The staff was very professional, attentive, efficient, and genuinely polite. The dining experience was superb, enjoyable and pleasant! Although the location is out of the way and not in town, but it is worth the drive out to enjoy a good lunch!
I've eaten here loads of times but the most recent meal was 25/11/12. I've uploaded a picture of my calamari starter. I like the Italian Orchard but is a bit expensive compared with other local restaurants.
I love this place, it's definately my favourite Italian restaurant in the Preston area, the only problem is that it's a little bit out of the way and costs me a fair bit of money for a taxi to get to and from home.
The staff are well dressed, the service is very good, the food is great, very good standard and you do get value for money for what you pay, I've been there several times and I'll have no hesitation in coming back, if there's a night out planned!
I have visited this restaurant several times before with groups of friends for special occasions, and I love it. The atmosphere is great, the food is served quickly and the quality was good. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone, despite the negative reviews I have read.
This place is lovely and I highly recommend it. The service is good and the food great. The prices are reasonable and there's a good selection of all three courses. A good place to go if you want a memorable evening :)
I had a chicken pasta dish when I went, and others tried the pizza and a salmon dish. All were really well cooked and very tasty. The selection of wine is good too and the waitress was able to recommended which would go best with our meal.
Excellent food turned out in excellent surroundings. A friendly restaurant for all the family, with its own kids playground outside. A great deal of choice with excellent service, and regular specials.
The Italian Orchard is a stunning dining experience that excels in everything apart from the food itself. The meal I had was tasty but I was waiting to be blown away. The new extension area which contains the bar is breathtaking and I think I just wanted everything else to match that. I would go again but sadly wouldn’t scream and shout about it!
My wife took me and our children here for a birthday meal, and it was absolutely lovely.
Very nice setting, with an outdoor drinking area and little play park for the kids, and absolutely stunning restaurant and bar area inside.
All the staff were great and even snag happy birthday to me at the secret request of my kids!
Local to us and can’t wait to go back!
Stunning restaurant with amazing food, great service and a buzzing atmosphere. There is a beautiful bar area to have drinks / cocktails before your meal and there is also a playground outside for youngsters. Parking is easy as there is a large car park outside. Can’t fault this place; we live an hour away and will be returning for my daughters birthday with friends soon.
Amazing setting. Can’t fault the food or service. Despite one of our guests being an hour late there was no pushing us or hassling us to go to our table. Kids enjoyed playing on the park. More expensive than your average restaurant but then it is better than the average
Myself and colleagues went for an afternoon lunch, to celebrate a retirement, the food was very nice and service was excellent too, some of the party were slightly disappointed by the lack of plant based/vegetarian options, but what they did chose was very nice. The venue itself is well laid out with different areas including outdoor seating. I would definitely visit again.
Attended a works do - gorgeous atmosphere- lovely customer care - food was delicious- only opted for veg but fish and seafood available - lovely mocktails & alcohol free drinks too.

Large family gathering aged 10 to over 80. Everything perfect. Catered easily with severe allergy and other dietary requirements. We'll definitely be back!
The Italian orchard is such a stunning restaurant inside and out. From the welcoming seating / waiting bar area, then over into the eating area with great views across the country side from particular areas. Amazing quality food & Service.

They messed up on one main course dish which I had to send back. Shame because I was really excited about the Veal Fillet Salt and Pepper which was ruined by piles of fresh root-ginger which was not mentioned in the menu description. We like the Italian Orchard and this won't deter us from visiting again
Wow! What a place to dine.
As you arrive you are greeted by the fabulous new extension ( bar area). Walking down the path to the front sliding glass doors, you are met by one of the staff who sat us down in the bar area.
After 10/15 mins we where taken to our table.

Again look stunning. Plenty of staff, I must of counted about 25 front of house staff.
Food and service impeccable.

Stopped by for lunch on the way back from the Lakes and didn't realise it's a fine dining Italian restaurant. We didn't have any reservation and were not appropriately dressed compared to other guests who were dressed to the nines but thankfully we weren't turned away. We had their two course lunch menu which was full of options to choose from for both starters and mains. The food is good and really filling. Service is quite formal but good and friendly. The restaurant has a massive space and even has a play area for children outside.
Beautifully decorated, the majority of the food was good, however one of the meals had undercooked rice and a tiramisu, minus the alcohol. When the issue was raised to the manager, he was initially dismissive, then tried to resolve it by bringing a shot of coffee liquer to add to the pudding!
Absolutely outstanding! Can’t fault a thing. We visited from Australia and this restaurant was brilliant! The gardens are stunning, the staff were a plenty (which is rare), our meals came out in a timely manner and were cleared in the same way. Our food was delicious and hot upon arriving and honestly, everything was perfect! Well done team!
I've been to this restaurant more times than I can count. And I believe my experiences have been worsening since I started coming many years ago.
To start, the food is excellent and the prices are also great. The choice of food is vast, and a huge specials menu is a great welcome. I usually find something new to try when I come. The amount of space to eat means getting a reservation on a busy night is not unheard of. The staff vary from lifeless and not knowing anything on the menu to bright personalities which make your visit memorable and fun as well as knowing all the menus well (both wine and food).
The bar area was recently updated and is gorgeous, I find that when I visit, it is packed full of people and I have to wait ages to get served at the bar.
I cannot complain too much at this place because I never walk away with a bad experience, just things that could have been different for a perfect experience.
