It's such a wonderful little gem. The staff was so welcoming and kind. It was warm and cosy. Would definitely recommend it. The food and drink come fast and hoteven though it was busy.

Cosy cafe, farmhouse tables, tip top nosh, definitely recommend the Full English (£11), which is deliciously cooked with locally sourced ingredients . They even have a stack of Sunday newspapers to keep one occupied.

Had superb lunch at this hidden gem of a cafe/restaurant. Amazing fish chowder, home made quiche and desserts. Too cheap but maybe waitress made a mistake so we added generous tip. This village is in easy access but not on main road...so you could miss it. Small joint but big heart for food and people :)

We traveled back from the Lake District to London and decided to have lunch at this café. The building didn't impress us, but we were surprised by the kitchen and the friendly staff in this place. The dishes were so tasty, and the portions were big. We ordered jacket potatoes 🥔 and salad, and they were amazingly cooked! We highly recommend it!

Called in today after we had a power cut at home.... Was looking forwards to a full English and i was not disappointed, best one i have had for a while and a fair price compared to some places. And they made a salad for my wife which she was super happy with. Staff and chef also very friendly and welcoming. We will be back.
