Great atmosphere and very helpful. There is a wide range of food at different price points. They were very accommodating to out vegan requests and we had a great filling. Our serves was very helpful in letting us know about all the options.

The Sunday roast was perfect, the beef was so easy to cut and chew. The waiters and waitresses were so kind to us and gave our pup lots of doggy biscuits! The roaring fire, with a pint and Sunday roast was bliss. Thank you so much xx

Rooms are nice, floor carpet everywhere, beds are comfy, food is really good. we loved the giant jug of coffee and tea for breakfast. Very authentic English style place. Grocery store and coffee shop just right opposite. Free street parking.
Had a lovely Sunday lunch here in a group of 8 (kitchen closes lunch at 3pm). As a group we had the roast beef, scampi, bc sausage, chicken burger, buttermilk chicken, salt and pepper chips and sticky toffee pudding. All the food was excellent, the stand outs were the salt and pepper chips, bc saus
Good selection of food and drinks, helpful and nice staff. Outdoor seating available, no heaters outside or free blankets (you can buy them for £4). Social distancing and Covid regulations are enforced.
