Since being on maternity leave for the last 3 weeks, still waiting for baby to arrive, me and my auntie have visited for lunch several times! The carvery is the best and today went and had the burger and the fish and chips off the Monday menu and oh my god! It was delicious, and sooooo reasonably priced too. Completely recommend this pub, staff are lovely too, excellently run family pub!
One of the best carvaries in Worcestershire ( if not the best ) also lovely specials / food. Lovely country feel pub & atmosphere. hard working friendly staff and owners. Nice drinks. love it there our regular place to go
We just loved it . Food was excellent . Going to be our regular place for when we go out for lunch . You should try it , staff were great too ..
Just been for a Sunday carvery. Nice pub, nice staff and of course wonderful carvery. So well worth the money. Highly recommended.
We travelled from Manchester to visit my best friend who is local and WE ALL loved the food the children's meals were really big and my husband had burger and was one of best he had, I had the carvery and I would tell ANYONE that it IS THE BEST one I've had .
Such FANTASTIC service and even though the pub was busy the service never suffered or dropped I WILL recommend to everyone
By far the best Carvery I've ever had, lovely hot food with plenty of choice. Thank you for a delightful Boxing Day meal, we will be back soon!!
Passed on the way to Croome, decided to stop here to eat on the way home. Carvery was so good. Plenty choice of fresh veg, amazing parsnips and roast potatoes and very tasty turkey. Value for money! The staff we welcoming and looked after us. Setting was beautiful too. Would stop by again
Friendly atmosphere, great service. The Carvery is continually freshened with hot delicious vegetables. Well cooked roasts, generous portions. The best value for money I've ever had.
We eat there often.
Have taken many coach loads of people here and many repeated groups. Never had a complaint. Always made welcome
Loverly lady who helps those who can’t manage walking and a hot plate
1st time I have been to the pub , went today , had the carvery , it was gorgeous , & great value for money !
Only been to the Wednesday carvery but it was absolutly beautiful and the amount of food you get is insane :) amazing resturant 10/10 best meal i've had for a while. :)
Absolutely fantastic carvery and sweet. Only £10. Not worth switching the oven on. And wonderful helpful staff. Will certainly be going again.
Lovely food. 2 course carvery for £10. Banging. The deserts could be a little better but for £10 for a carvery and desert you actually can't go wrong. Some staff a little grumpy though
lovely food however child menu is expensive for a 2 year old to be able to eat. also i have an eating disorder and struggle eating a full meal so when asked for a box to take home i was charged which i found quite ridiculous. all staff friendly however and lovely atmosphere
1st time visiting here after been recommended by family. We wasn't disappointed. Carvery was yummy, pudding was delicious & all staff were very friendly & welcoming. Will definitely be going again :-)
We've been several times to the March Hare. Great carvery, really nice desserts and some really good deals. Very well run. Book in advance - it gets really busy!
Visited for a lunchtime carvery. Lovely selection of meats, potatoes, vegetables. Good value. Lovely selections of puddings. March Hare Pale ale a lovely pint from bar amongst others
Excellent Carvery, worth having a desert if you cannot manage it , they will pack it for you to rake away. The freshest vegetables and cooked to perfection with a very wide choice. Joints of beef, pork and turkey, taste gorgeous. I fully recommend dining. You need to book, it's that good.
Great value food, 4 of us have been the past 2 weeks and had the carvery, so much choice, great value. Would recommend.
Excellente
Very welcoming. A large choice on the menu, reasonable prices and the quality of the food was very good. The waiting staff top class. I highly recommend this pub.
Great carvery at a great price. Best carvery we've had for a long time. Will go again even though its a 45 minute drive from our home.
This place serves good food. The carvery is very good usually but today the meat was cold and so were some of the vegetables. The cauliflower was very under cooked and I could not cut it. I am assuming this is a one off as it is normally brilliant.
There was also a hygiene issue at the carvery table which consisted of a Yorkshire pudding which had been handled by a customer on her plate which she changed her mind about having, was put back into the tray by the chef to be given to another customer. Not good.
Real Ale excellent, food carvery very good bar staff were friendly and helpful. I observed their patience with more demanding customers, the only thing that was a negative was the servery chef. A sort of Basil Faulty type! Worth a visit.
Looked beautiful drove out for a nice meal got there at 8.15 they stop serving food at 8. Quite shocked at that as most places 9 pm. Shame as it looked like a nice place didn't stay for a drink as I need some food. May be next time.
Excellent value. Carvery very good. My only complaint they had run out of some desserts when we came to get ours.
My family really enjoyed our Sunday lunch. Lovely veg option.
Amazing food, excellent value for money. Choice of 3 meat choices and unlimited veg and sides.
Pudding choices were excellent.
Went here for the first time a couple of weeks ago. On a Sunday for the carvery. 2 adults a child and 2 dogs. We were sat in the bar because of the dogs but it was very cosy with the log burner on. We enjoyed the carvery so much that we booked for Easter Sunday with the folks joining us. The meat portions are very generous and this week included lamb. The meat was all very nice including the beef which can be hit or miss eating out. The carvery I would say is the best around. Everything cooked beautifully. And very good value at £15 for a Sunday. The staff were all very friendly and helpful also. Will continue to visit this lovely place especially in the summer as the beer garden looked rather nice. The puddings
Were also very nice we had the ginger cake cheesecake the salted caramel cheesecake and the apple pie and custard. Ice-cream for the boy. Not a mouthful was left 👍👍👍
The inn was a small personal space very clean The staff was friendly, but the icing on the cake was the food, generous portions and taste marvelous, thanks for making our day out a lovely experience.
Best Carvery I've had in years. Others in our party had equally good food.. nothing is ever perfect but The March Hare is close.
