Lovely spot in the heart of the New Forest a stone throw off the A31, we love stopping here after a walk in the forest it has such a stunning view year round at sunset we’ve spotted a variety of wildlife straight from the pub front sitting area. There’s a large play area for kids and it’s dog frien
This is a great find, just a few hundred yards off the main road with a big carpark and great walking. It's a big pub and was pretty quiet when we came in on a Monday lunchtime. The staff were friendly, the beer was good and even though it was 3pm, we were able to choose whatever we wanted from an
Popped in for coffees after visiting The Rufus Stone. Great pub with huge outside seating areas & children's play area. Beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.
Lovely pub, have not been for 13 years and it was as good today as it used to be. Quite, friendly staff, good playground and great food. We took our 4 year old girls on bank holiday Monday at 1730. The staff were perfect, gave them colouring and small wooden fairy doors to colour. The park has bee

We camped in the campsite field behind which was cheap and had electric hookups, however there is nowhere to wash up pots and pans etc and no showers. You can however use the pub toilets
Met with friends for lunch. Set in the New Forest horses roaming around on the countryside makes for an idealic place to go. Food was superbly cooked varying from chicken roast dinner, Chicken Caesar Salad, Prawn starter and another 3meat roast. Deserts to follow and coffee. Everyone happy with the
Not easy to get there as it was raining a lot and one road was flooded. But I am glad we found another route. We went for the roast and that was fantastic. The "small portion" had just about as much food as the normal portion and for around £7 ( no Yorkshire pudding and you have to choose between po
