The Royal Oak - Bromyard - Photo album

The Royal Oak is a lovely countryside pub. A perfect stop after a walk on the Downs. It has enough parking and loads of space for kids / dogs to run around while you sit in the shade and enjoy a drink. They serve food too, although we didn't try it this time. We'll be back for sure.
Lovely beer gardens, very welcoming. Great food and drinks.
I have visited this pub for real ale and meals with friends regularly over several years despite living some distance away. We return because the beer and home-prepared food are always of a good standard. The staff are friendly and they play interesting music. The building and location are lovely wh
Had a nice pint sitting outside in the sunshine. Can't comment on the food.
Visited here a number of times for various occasions, as a family and as a couple. We have sampled the lunchtime menu and the evening menu and the food is delicious, tasty home cooked meals every time. Staff are friendly and welcoming and service is excellent. It's a rustic and calming atmosphere se
This is a gem on the edge of Bromyard Downs in Herefordshire and well worth a visit. We always find a warm welcome from the hosts. The beer is well kept with plenty of other choice. Good home cooked food reasonably priced and more than enough choice to suit your tastes. There's a flagstoned area
Excellent food (very promptly served) and very welcoming staff. We were on holiday in Bromyard this August, and first used this pub on the 23rd, and we enjoyed it so much we came back on the 27th. We cannot recommend this pub highly enough!
A proper pub that serves great food, not some pretentious place trying to be something it isn't. The Royal Oak is a warm, comfortable place run by friendly people serving good beer and excellent pub food. All the pub classics you would expect, at very reasonable prices.
Six of us when for a lunchtime sandwich between Christmas and New Year. The sandwiches were excellent and the prices competitive. Only 4 stars instead of 5 because there was only one member of staff performing the role of waitress and serving behind the bar so service was a little slow.
Lovely oldy worldy pub. Good food, friendly helpful staff. Ideally set for walking on Bromyard Downs or for a pleasant lunch/ dinner/ drink stop. M y of the original features remain, with beamed and low ceilings.
Amazing! We arrived as it started to rain heavily and the gentleman at the bar was so accommodating Getting the door for us and walking home is in even though we made his floor wet with our coats and boots Amazing selection of well prepared and delicious classic pub food (with a few alternatives thr
Gorgeous sunny Saturday. Pub surprisingly quiet. Lovely building and situation. Good beer, but unexciting expensive food let down by cheap low quality ingredients.
Great evening in a very welcoming pub. Reasonable prices lovely atmosphere. Very rural with weak phone signal so would have liked wifi.
Absolutely excellent!! Great service, great ambiance. Superb food! Will be back when we're next down this way!
Lovely setting, large patio and charming inside, food was excellent and plenty of it, welcoming thoughtful landlord. Very happy to recommend
