Tandoori Flames within the pub , food is beautiful. Staff so friendly. In other side of pub there is another bar . We went on a Fri so a karaoke, DJ, disco. A really great wee place. New owners . Will be back thx for a fab eve 😄

Just had a lovely evening at the Golden Lion. Staff were so friendly and looked after us well. There was a lovely atmosphere in there, everyone was very welcoming.
Went out with friends for their anniversary and had a brilliant night, first class food and service and will most definitely be going back

I went to a small party at the golden lion, the party was in a room were other drinkers and a few playing pool on the tables. It could do with a separate party room.
I tell you what, the new management have absolutely nailed it. Absolutely brilliant atmosphere, Everything they do isn’t for their own gain, it’s making the community get more involved and making family’s more welcome. I am very pleased with their progress and I hope you guys keep it up!

The Golden Lion is under new management and now serving food. We went today for a Sunday Lunch, which was excellent. A choice of Beef, Pork or Turkey with all the trimmings - £9 for a large plate and £6 for a small. The pub is very clean and tidy and a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely be go
