Found this Tea Room/café very recently and I have to say it is excellent. The Ploughman's was full of flavour and extremely good value for money . The owner and staff are very welcoming and the venue spotlessly clean.
Definitely highly recommended.
Maybe I am biased as it is run by my daughter - I had the pleasure of helping her out today - lovely regular customers, new faces and kind comments - we serve homemade lemon cake and homemade fruit cake, along with the likes of jacket potatoes, toasties, sandwiches and paninis. Worth a visit if you
Lovely afternoon tea. Great selection of sandwiches, scone with jam and cream and a selection of cakes. Tea from a teapot and refilled on request. Excellent service.
Lovely little shop and cafe. Would be a 5 star but the chap in there never smiles or gives eye contact. Such a shame as all the other staff are brilliant.
