A perennial favourite. No airs and graces just decent beer and friendly staff and customers. A ‘pop-up’ that’s barely changed in 10yrs… what they do, they do right

Really nice pub. Lots of choice of ales and spirits. The lager isn't to my taste. There was nothing else so I ended up leaving. But everyone in my group said how nice everything else was! The owners were on hand to cater to everyone and the facilities were all clean. A lovely little pub!

What a lovely little bar, a good variety of ales at reasonable prices. My visit coincided with a fabulous music and song session.

Very popular independent ale house with great selection of beer. Very small, cramped and generally strange inside with tiny little area to drink outside at the front. Not my sort of place but lots of very loyal regulars. Don't ask for a G&T!

Small, independent micro pub, a few cask ales on and friendly, welcoming owners. Nice to support a local business rather than feeding chains.

Excellent little real ale bar, serving about 6 or 8 real ales, and as many ciders. A selection of gins is also available, and cheese and ham rolls. Outside seating is also available.

Lovely little place, deserves more trade, a little "off piste", but that is part of the attraction. Good quality drinks at reasonable prices and friendly

A warm and personal welcome here from lovely proprietors, friendly atmosphere and good ale (and cider I'm told) - highly recommended for anyone who enjoys their beer for it's taste and quality

Idiosyncratic real ale pub in one small room. Ever changing and interesting selection of real ales and superb pork pies. 20p / pint discount for CAMRA members. Well worth a visit.
