We love Ascotts! We've been going to Ascotts for years and I can definitely say that it is the best food in Aston Fields (probably Bromsgrove as well :)) We have dined it, used the takeout option and even delivery (during Covid). The food is always great. What I really like is that you can request to remove a sauce if it is not to your liking. I don't eat spicy food and the majority of dishes come with spicy sauces, which is not a problem because they will happily remove it if you ask :) My partner always goes with spicy wings and I have Tandoori Chicken Tacos (with chilli removed) & Tenders with blue sauce only. We like to come early (4-5pm) that way it's always quiet :) If you plan on eating here over the weekend, you have to book. It's the busiest place in the area and for a good reason. Lovely cocktails as well. Highly recommended!

Staff were extremely welcoming, very helpful when choosing items off the menu and were very patient with us considering there kitchen had just closed whilst we were still deciding. The Korean chicken burger was nice, although lacked depth of flavour and a little extra seasoning was needed. The coleslaw and sauces were delicious and the bun was fab. The belly pork was excellent, the best belly pork I've ever tasted, so would highly recommend. My partner ordered the veggie burger, which she said was nice. The interior was inviting and warm. Lovely night filled with good hearty street food.

Came in tonight for a family meal, was surprised to see so busy on a Wednesday! Very good selection of beers on tap, we all loved them. Service was great by the waitresses, and the food was amazing!! Definitely try the stack burger! Will definitely be returning to try again!

We’ve enjoyed three meals in the restaurant (pre and post Covid) and two takeaways tasting the menu’s range. The restaurant’s atmosphere is great, friendly staff and service is prompt. Highlights are: cauliflower popcorn, buffalo soldiers (halloumi), burgers, corn, and fries (butt and ranch). All the sauces and portion sizes are excellent. We recently ate here with a vegan and unfortunately the portion fillings of the tacos were small and the fries just looked and tasted like chips and mayo. This is a shame as it’s the only disappointing experience we’ve had. It’s great many sides are vegan friendly, but it’d be better if there were more options for vegans and the portions were larger.

Be hungry! Amazing food in incredible portions. May require a small wait sometimes, but worth every minute. Snug venue but wonderful. Staff are top notch.

Booked for 22 guests. Maisy served us and she was amazing. Despite a large group the service and food was excellent. Thank you for making this a great night for a special occasion.

Visited one week ago for wife's birthday. Very sunny day and function going on inside so we sat outside which was really nicely shaded at one end of our bench and sunny at the other (perfect!). Staff were really welcoming and the service continued to be excellent throughout- giving us extra time to order and keeping on top of drinks which was really nice especially considering we were outside the restaurant. The selection of beers and cocktails was also impressive. We ordered a mixture from their starters and street food selections; Korean pork belly - lots of sauce really like this one. The blue cheese and beef fries (special) - very generously topped and good - maybe if we were super picky the fries could have used a little more cooking. Buffalo and blue cheese wings - 10/10 both loved these and they are massive! Frickles and fralapenos - good crispy batter and did their job. Street corn - this is the only dish I had any real issue with and I will hold my hands up now and say I said nothing when asked if things were OK because the value elsewhere was so good, but this was very elaborately described with lime salt etc but was actually 4/5 of a corn on the cob well-cooked on a grill and served on a lot of lettuce. At £6 I wouldn't order this one again. During our visit there was a function on and this function was placed at the end of the bar in front of the toilets and made it a bit awkward to push through to use the facilities - maybe they could have been placed more tactically? Overall our experience was a really positive one and I'd come back in a heartbeat if only for the pork belly and wings!
