High standard refurbishment, the food is 5*** the staff are very friendly & welcoming and it's a good beer.
It's obvious the owners priority is to make the place a 5* establishment and welcome all who appreciate the fine things including Children & Dogs, Highly recommend 👌🏻

Excellent food and service with a local beer on tap. Started visiting The Dodford on regular basis and it's one of the best pubs in the area. Good selection of food always fresh and hot. Sandwich selection as well so caters for all. Perfect location for summer as has a large outdoor area.
Can't believe someone left a 2* � Only criticism is website or social media not updated with what's on which they are missing out on.
Would recommend anyone visit, a great place in a great setting! Seen many changes but always been a pleasure over the years 👍😊

My husband and I went for dinner yesterday evening and it happened to be the opening night of the restaurant. It is a beautiful, spacious room with a lovely atmosphere. The food was excellent and the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Can't wait to go back!!!!

Food was lovely, service was poor. Some peoples food arrived before others. Staff seemed more interested in the regulars. Werent checked up on once during our food. So we never stayed for pudding, shame tho as they looked decent.

On the hottest day of 2023, we celebrated our 10 year anniversary & our childs milestone birthday, in an intimate event at The Dodford Inn.
From the start Ben M & his lovely sister worked with us on our requirements & followed up with such a beautiful & memorable day. The venue is clean, spacious, scenic, location is ideal, parking is great & the views from their well maintained grounds are stunning!
The food by their chef & team was so beautifully cooked & presented. We asked for Thai food & that is exactly what we got.
Most of all we were all bowled over by the professional staff & ladies, running back and forth on a very hot day to fill up drinks, bring food & bring out the cake. Nothing was too much from start to finish.
As brown Asian's, this was something different for the elder generation & many of them have said they really enjoyed something new. We will be back time & time again as this place now is part of our story.
We wholeheartedly recommend this place as your choice of venue because we looked far & wide, for something perfect & The Dodford Inn is as close as you're going to get to perfect. You will not regret it.

Had Sunday lunch as a Anniversary treat and it was fantastic. Friendly professional helpful staff, a lovely meal with quality ingredients and wonderfully cooked, good choice of drinks in a beautiful setting.
Lovely Pub/ Restaurant. Think it's recently been refurbished. Went for Sunday lunch there and was really pleased with the service and quality of food. We ate indoor which has been done out to a high standard. There is a patio area which looks lovely too. We will definitely be going back very soon.
The food we had was absolute delicious (tarragon chicken,beer battered cod in particular). The veg was perfectly done and the portion sizes were just right. Best food we’ve ever had there. Compliments to the chef!
So sad to see this gorgeous pub closing today. It's much too lovely to allowed to close having been very beautifully restored in recent years. I wish the owners and the staff so much luck for the future and how to see The Dodford Inn reopen soon.
First time visiting the area and chanced on The Dodford Inn (family of 5). Glad we did. The staff were really welcoming, it was spotlessly clean and the quality of food was fantastic for the price. Definitely returning if we get the chance.
Lovely location and relaxing outdoor seating area with loads of tables. Staff are friendly and helpful. I’ve only had the pizza but it was brilliant. Good selection of drinks that are reasonably priced. Will be going back again. Plus it’s dog friendly!
So sad to hear The Dodford is closing soon. Superb surroundings, quality staff, great food and relaxing atmosphere. Hope something can be worked out so this gem doesn't fall off the map 🤞
Had a lovely lunch food was excellent and the staff excellent . Very good distance between tables . Was a little worried about going out as my mother in law is very anxious . But she was very relaxed . The first place I've been to and they clean the tables with spray and leave it then wipe with blue roll and use a separate one for chairs . Well done guys keep up the good work . Will definitely be back . If you haven't been then go a little gem.

We held a private party at this wonderful venue for my Wife’s 60th Birthday. The food was great, all the staff looked after us well and everything went smoothly. All our guests really enjoyed it. Many thanks to Ben, Becky and all the team!

I attended an event at the Dodford Inn recently. The venue had no only one of the most picturesque views I've seen. They also have some of the kindest staff, they all were super happy to be there! An environment like that is extremely hard to find!

Went for a birthday party and had place to ourselves. Food was really good. It was a sunny day and the outdoor seating options were nice and lovely garden space.

What a lovely family run pub, waitress was very welcoming , attentive and nothing was too much trouble, and let’s not forget how delicious the food is and reasonably priced. Will definitely be visiting again, would give 6 stars if I could ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Highly recommend Dodford Inn. The food is excellent - very tasty with great portion sizes. We had the chicken burger, duck salad (starter size), white chocolate cheesecake, large glass of Rioja and beer.
The staff are very friendly, the decor and atmosphere great, and everything is covid compliant.
This is our third visit back in 2020. We’d previously been for a drink in the beer garden in the summer, and been for Sunday lunch. In every visit we consistently experience great friendly service, very tasty food, and good value for money.
This last visit was a Friday evening meal in December 2020.
