Lovely food, great service location takes you back in time to late 60s.
My favourite Indian. We are luckily local and so can visit about once a week. Always amazing food and service. Couldn't recommend more highly!!
Great food, great service. I definitely recommend checking it out
Gorgeous food and Cobra on tap... what more could you ask for?
I've ordered takeaways from this restaurant on several occasions. The food is always delicious, the portions are generous and overall it's very very very good value for money!
Vegan Friendly. We ordered a takeaway from Sabir Tandoori this evening having asked them if they could make our veggie choices vegan. They were more than knowledgeable, helpful and honest about what they could and couldn't offer us as vegans. When the food came OMG it was absolutely bloody amazing. We had 5 dishes (and one fish and naan for the non veggie person) and a roti and each had it's own very distinct tasty flavour and all of them were really fresh and generously sized. It came to £18!! Absolutely gem of a restaurant which we'll eat at time and time again... I'm so full but just want to go back for more
Love the food here.
Since moving from North London to South,
I find its alot harder to come across authentic restaurants.
This is the best one I have come across on both sides of the river, the food tastes like home cooking and the people working for the restaurant are so genuine and nice.
The atmosphere is very relaxed and nice,
The only downsides are that sometimes it's cold in the restaurant (I'm always cold anyway) but they are happy to turn up the heat. And that there is a table near the toilet with a low partition, it would be better if there was more of a partition for the toilets but that's a personal preference.
Other than that I can't fault this place at all.
Try the lamb anawaka it's to die for.
Despite being located in a quiet estate, a lovely place to eat. Staff very friendly and helpful, and delicious food served relatively quickly. Reasonably priced too. Would definitely recommend, and will use again.
Just had a delicious takeaway from Sabir Tandoori. The chicken dansak and aubergine bhaji were the highlights but the food in general was good, and it was all still hot when we got it home. Would recommend!
Don't let the fact it is off the beaten track fool you. Sabir Tandoori provides a gastronomic assualt on the taste buds the likes of which Field Marshal Montgomery would be proud. Good food in layman's terms, very good food.
The Sabir is hidden away in a small precinct that looks as if you’re going back to the late 60s early 70s and you’re wondering if Till Death us do Part will be on the Telly when you get back home. Quite bizarre. We had a curry for two as a gift given to us and it was for this restaurant. Prior to tonight, we knew nothing about the Sabir. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly waiter and after handing over our gift letter, were shown to our table. We had Cobra, which is on draft, chose our food and when it came we were not disappointed. Balti Chicken Jalfrezi and Methi Chicken , cauliflower, green beans and onion bhajis- all very nicely cooked. Service was excellent and the staff can’t do enough for you so, if ever you are anywhere near Hayes Lane, pop into Sabir Tandoori.
Casual but delicious faultless food. Will definitely be back & I’d recommend giving them a try 👍
Love this place! I've been coming here for years since I was a little boy with my family. All birthdays and family get togethers we only come to this place. Food is always spot on, and staff always friendly. Definately one to try!
